programming and such
So, my birthday was on Tuesday, I'm 27. I've been taking it easy lately. Of course, taking it easy is 9 hours of work, 6-7 hours of straight gameplay.
Not all of those work hours are doing what I would like, which is programming. Very often, I spend my time going to the bank lately. That, or phone calls with my partners. I think I spend 7-10 hours a week talking to my partners. Not talking about business stuff either, mostly bs most of the time, or talking about one of my other partner's bs. Sigh...
After that, I often get stressed out, and have trouble getting back into the mood to program.
I "really" want to play COH, but I've been grinding WOW kinda hoping to get some things accomplished. Now I've pretty much gotten everything I feel I "need" to get done, so I don't feel as great a need to grind. I played tonight and actually almost went up 2 levels only loking at my xp bar once or twice. Thats how I normally like to play, just enjoy it, not try to get anything in particular done.
Unless something major changes in WOW, I may be done in the next couple months. Its a great game, but you don't normally play a great game forever, you play it for a time, then you're done. COH is a bit different for me, because I don't want to play it all the time, but I really like the customization, and plus, I love superheroes!
At any rate, I plan on getting in some good COH gameplay soon, maybe try to catch up with Mark's character (he has a lvl 30 blaster) or just try to save up influence for issue 4 (coming out soon I hope). We have a great guild in WOW, I'm kinda hoping maybe we can do the same thing in COH.
I'm really thinking about doing a forgotten realms online game, my pbf seems to be slowing down quite a bit, I added some more players, hoping to get more posts more often, but it seems slower than ever. I might end it, then start it up again, with whoever wants to join joining, but a little bit ahead in the future, so I can reorganize it with more active players.
Besides, I think the idea of running a similar story campaign both online and offline to be interesting, I could compare the two and post gamelogs.
