So the dndorks crew has been moved in for a week.  Still haven't settled in. 

Our network is up, last night I hooked up our network laser printer.  Both good things.  The printer tripped the UPS that was hooked up to our servers so I had to put it on its own.  Not sure if the printer is going bad or if it was always so power hungry.  Its a brother HL-1650 with the network printer add-on.

I dismantled our large 8 person wooden table last night and we took it down into the basement.  I have good feelings about our gaming down there, I think its going to be really cool.  Role-playing belongs in a basement anyways. ;)   I think I'm going to put our wireless switch down there, as I don't really want lots of wires going to people's laptops when people are playing.  I may run a wire to where the DM's station will be, just because I like to play music sometimes when we play and I think it would be smoother. 

I ordered this miniature yesterday: Beholder  I think it looks awesome.  Its from the Death Knell line of D&D miniatures, which is no longer being sold so I figured I had little chance of finding it again and the prices on ebay were only going up.  Unfortunately I had bought a commercial scanner for our artist in Arizona and accidentally left his address checked as default.   So thus off goes my miniature to his house. :(  Guess I'll have to wait a bit to receive it unless the guy selling it to me manages to get my e-mail in time.

I'm starting to get a bit of my energy back, I've been going to sleep every day early and waking up a bit late ever since the move.  Something in my lower right back kinda hurts, and it feels funny if I pick heavy things up.  Hopefully that will go away soon as the rest of my body heals from the move.  At the very least its less noticeable unless I'm actually lifting something heavy.  With that, I hope to invest more energy into the sites.  I actually got up today around 6:30am and got some work done on various websites. 

We're hoping for a big D&D gaming weekend, games at least Friday and Saturday, and possibly Sunday.  My birthday is coming up, not sure if I plan on doing something or not, probably will.  Regardless during the day I hope to get some work done on my H2O business, the webcomic directory that is coming soon, and the themes for dndorks and webcomic.net.
