Nah.....Nickelodeon had already passed it's prime by the time Zim came on.  Plus, they cancelled Rocko's Modern Life.

As far as I know, it never was cool since it came here.
As for Cartoon Network, it used to be quite good, but they also suck big-time lately...

The only time I watched it was when they had Dragon Ball Z on...
Most cartoon channels seemed to start sucking.
Fox Kids pretty much replaced Cartoon Network over here.
But ever since it became clear Japanese Anime was "The thing" They got all kinda of kiddy crap.
And the translations to Dutch SO suck, but that always did...
Give me english, if not Japanese with sub-titles in English...

I first stopped watching Nickolodean when they first got rid of Ren & Stimpy. But then I started watching Rocko's Modern Life...and then a little later they started airing Angry Beavers. Good lord do I miss Angry Beavers...Dagget! Norbert! Where have you gone?!

 

Nickolodean is pure crap today. Cartoon Network isn't too great either, but they have Ed, Edd, and Eddy...as for Fox Kids (aka the FoxBox), that's crap too. And so is Kids' WB.

The Cartoon Network pisses me off with that damn Scooby shit they pull every afternoon.
