    TWC Fusion Comic

TWC is forming a fusion comic with the help of various participating artists.  A link to the fusion comic page will be posted shortly.

Akira has accepted the role of organizer of the project, and I really look forward to seeing what we can all put together.  Hopefully Akira can explain what we're trying to do, and how we're going to go about it, soon.

Edited:  The link to the Fusion Comic is here.  There is plenty of text changes that need to be made, my priority was on getting it all done tonight.  It will be expanded over time, Ry and Akira will be rewriting text as needed to make things make sense.

BTW:  There is a good chance that those artists who participate in the fusion comic will receive some promotion from TWC, I can't say anymore until I discuss it with everyone.

Well with only one participant so far, I don't think it exists yet.
What's the point of a hero with no one to save?

    Le sigh

    RE: TWC Fusion Comic

Alrighty, anybody that wants to signup to do the twc fusion comic raise your mouse.

A real fusion comic works basically by one cartoonist creating a panel and posting it on a page. Then another cartoonist creates a panel that continues that segment. The cartoonist may continue it in any fashion they please as long as it stays with the story that is being played. The way ours will play out though, will actually be a small page (multipule panels...or one if you feel like it.) A fusion comic really shines by showing the many differences in styles that people use, mainly in art and sometimes in writing. Its a good way to show off your style and find new readers.

    These are the guidelines.

    1. All the people that signup will be randomized and placed in a new order. If you're going after somebody that you don't like, too bad, deal with it.
    2. Our image size will be around 400x400, and file size must be 100kb or less.
    3. You are allowed to use profanity, but no nudity (duh).
    4. Sprites are a no go...use pixel art...or extreme sprite modification...both are much better...
    5. Keep the quality EXTRA HIGH. This is showing off your stuff, and if it looks like crap, then don't think everybody will want to read your comic. Put lots of effort into it.
    6. The update rate will be once a week, on Sunday. Submissions must be made by Saturday. If you would like to make sure the quality is good, you can go ahead and send it to me and I'll give a rating...thought that's not required...
    7. Warn us (3-4 days in advance) if you cannot submit your comic on the assigned date. You will be put at the bottom of the list and the next person will take your place, if no one can take your place, it will update later in the week, or I'll shove something in...

Several questions will be asked I'm sure. I'll answer them in this post and edit it with new questions.

    RE: TWC Fusion Comic

ok, count me in. It would be great to take a bit of a break from my ninja saga storyline, and participate in something that can be alot of fun. Also, disregard my first stupid comment I made before actually reading what a fusion comic was. I mistook it for a crossover.

All styles...'cept sprities...pixel art and extremely modded sprites, okay. Stick figures...err...better look a good bit something like the actual characters...

    RE: TWC Fusion Comic

I wont let you guys down. I can find figures that can be used to represent the characters, or if not, I can at least draw in arrows denoting which represents who.

OR I could just do a bunch of "Meanwhile: Elsewhere" panels

Seriously though, I think this has great potential.

And i could always model characters out of clay, instead of using my regular characters.

    Like Gumby?
  •  3/25/2004 10:31:00 AM 546691 in reply to 501287

    RE: TWC Fusion Comic

Interesting you should mention that. I actually DID make a gumby for one of my movies, it was a parody of anime, so it had a ton of characters that transformed and yelled out their attacks. Gumby got beat fast, so he got some techno-armor and came back fighting. Im pretty sure I can re-make a normal gumby, but I also saved all the characters from that movie, Goclay, Claygeta, Techno-Gumby, and a load more.
