RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
"Hi, we were wondering what you could tell us about the Golems" said Mikina, "and what is our plan for fighting them?"

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
[GM Post] Time: Mid-Afternoon [Fighter's Guild: Raven and Mikina] Lishnil, thank goodness, is a very aware individual. He can tell Mikina is older then she appears. "We're waiting to see if we can get some of the other guilds to join us before producing a plan. We still got until the high-moon before the golems attack again. ...However, before we continue talking, I think it would only be appropriate to share our names with each other," he says in a respectful yet serious tone. [Mage's Guild: Shelna] "We're mages, not Clerics, Lady Shelna. We don't possess anyone with those sorts of skills. If you want someone to do that, go talk to the Clerics of Harpal," Cuthurnus counters. [Wilder's Guild: Twain, Favarin, and Darwin] "I wouldn--" the ranger begins to say before being cut off. "Your kind is not accepted here, Blasphemer!" The druid exclaims. "Take your people and leave." The Barbarian just stands there looking at Favarin like he would make a good trophy. [Town: Yashwi] The town is in quite the bustle over this. As you pass the Mercenaries guild on the way to the Mage's guild, you notice that there are a few Dark Elves standing in the midsts of the mercenaries. There are all sorts of types about. From thieves picking pockets of adventurers, to all sorts of merchants using this to bolster business, down to the adventurers themselves. It shouldn't take you long to get to the mages guild now...

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
Shelna looks back at Cuthurnus with a sort of nasty glare, "Maybe you did not understand what I said. You must try every option that you can use if you want this town to be peaceful once again. You could send an envoy to any cleric in this town or near by ones and have them cast the spell on this town. I do not want to see a peaceful town like this be bothered by a few pathetic golems. Violence is never a good thing. We need to find out where these golems are coming from so we can go there and stop them. I am going to do this myself if I do not get any help from you. Now you either can act or sit back and watch this town be destroyed; it is your choice."

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
“My apologies, I meant no offence I simply wish to help consolidate the defenses of this town in the face of the golem threat.”
He smiles at the druid
“I do not come to preach the words of my god, cooperation and strategy are things that everyone can appreciate despite religious rifts; we face a common foe and fighting amongst ourselves would be extremely foolish.”
He looks to each of them.
“I respect your ways and your faiths even if they may differ from my own but we do share the burden of conflict, let’s not allow it to be with in ourselves but with the darkness encroaching on this settlement every moment spent bickering.”
“If we, you, I and everyone else in this town work together as a whole we will be able to dispatch the golems and what ever is controlling them.”

Favarin glances at the barbarian, he frowns slightly at the look the man gives him, but quickly changes his face to a friendly smile, wanting to go along with Twain's speech.

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
Yashwi walks down the streets as though a tourist in many ways, his eyes moving about and taking note of the many things different about this surface world town than the world he grew up in. For some reason, people here didn't have the strict caste system which he was used to, for the Dark Elves were in the open, and seemingly accepted, other than that, the races seemed more intermingled, a concept hard for the Xenophobic Dark Elves to understand in many ways. Still, life was not for him to find an understanding with the Surface races, it was for him to find the power which his Dark Goddess wanted from him, his goals being intertwined with her own - and in many ways he knew not when hers began and his ended. Of course, this probably was because he swore himself to her service, and asked for the power he now could use well - the power which she granted him because of a mutual understanding between the two of them - she was the one in charge. This wasn't too hard for the power-hungry Dark Elf to understand though, for all his life he was subservient to the Female Priestesses, or the females of his family, and subservience to his Goddess was simply another such continuing of what he was used to. Though, he no longer would probably deal well with being told what to do by a female priestess - or any female Drow, for they usually worship Loth, a diety which he has no affiliation toward, and his Goddess would not really want him to be letting them force him to do their will, and through their will their Goddess' will. So, it was probably best to say he really didn't believe any 'mortal' power to be more important than his own, though not entirely accurate - for there are always exceptions. Eventually his thoughts were interupted by his noting of some small detail which had originally escaped him, the fact that these people all seemed to be moving around for some ultimate purpose of good - or the ultimate purpose of making cash. Both of these reasonings behind doing anything escaped him, and thus he continued his movement toward the Mage's Guild - his thoughts continuing on the spiral of why people would do something like that until he reached the gates of the Mage's Guild themself.

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
[Fighter's Guild: Raven and Mikina] Lishnil turns to speak to Mikina first. "Yea. Not many people are quite quick to pick up some of the less obvious things. "And it is nice to meet you, Raven." [Mage's Guild: Shelna and Yashwi] Cuthurnus, while a political genius, is as dumb as a doornob when strategy comes to play. "I'll take your ideas to the next council meeting, lady Shelna. I can't do more then that without having approval at the council. Now if you could excuse me, time wears on, and I must meet and appointment," he says as he gets up and begins moving towards the door. Meanwhile, Yashwi arrives at the front welcoming area of the Mages Guild Tent. The apprentice there hasn't taken notice, as he is looking through some papers. [Wilder's Guild: Twain, Favarin, and Darwin] "Your slicked tounge shall not persuade me otherwise, palidin," The druid says rather bluntly, a scowl crossing her face. The barbarian is caught by suprise with a smile. Minotaurs aren't supposed to smile! They're supposed to be terrible beasts that grind bone to bread! Confusion ensues and the barbarian is quiet. "Druid, religion should not matter here, and you know it. If he wishes to come in, then he can. I'll take him in myself If I have to. You're not going to try and stop me are you?" says the ranger. The Druid just scowls at him and then turns away. "Fine, support the blasphemer. When our god punishes you for this, don't come begging to me, though." "Yea, whatever," the ranger says as he rolls his eyes and turns to view Twitch and his party. "Follow me," he says as he opens the tent flap for them.

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
Favarin watches in slight amusement as the barbarian becomes confused, he bends down to Twains ear and mutters that he's waiting out here to try some politics of his own. He then turns his attention on the barbarian.
One thing he could relate to were barbaric tribes, he having belonged to one himself once. He nods to the barbarian, stepping out of the roadway to the side of him, he almost extended his hand before remembering that most barbarian tribes didn't observe that particular gesture, "Never seen a smiling minotaur before?"

Sir Twain nods and follows leaving Favarin behind trusting that he wouldn't do anything foolish.

Shelna then leaves the mages guild with a sort of accomplished and defeated look. Then she says to herself 'For being one of the best mages in this town, he really doesn't know anything when it comes to solving problems.' Then she begins to walk around the town looking for one of the better taverns because she needs a drink.

Mikina sits down on the ground next to Lishnil. "So what is our plan for fighting creatures that are nearly invincible, and are in infinite numbers?"

RE: We're Not Alone [Open, Epic]
Yashwi looked at the person who ruffled through the papers with an indignant expression pasted on his face. It wasn't simply that the man hadn't noticed his prescence, it was the implication that the Drow Wizard wasn't important enough to be noticed, something which upset Yashwi quite a bit. His pride was one of the few problems that Yashwi had, something of a vice of his. In many ways, Yashwi was like a small child, who wanted attention when he felt that he deserved it, so when it was denied to him, such as this moment, he usually didn't like it. "Hey! I'm here to speak to someone about the local problems, damnit! Why can't I get some decent service from some apprentice like you, it's the only thing apprentices can do - and you aren't doing it right!" He glared at the person, his hands crossed in front of him without him even making a motion which would appear to be a spell. Yashwi was angry, but not stupid, he wouldn't cast a spell within a magically strong community.
