Demonic minion struggles to comprehend the functions of the fabled
Can-Opener of Jubilex.
Hi, mind if I have a go?
If it's not a Gibbering Mouther, and I see it's not, it reminds me of the scene in the dog kennels from John Carpenter's remake of The Thing. I guess it's just D&D monsters though so
The Thing is unlikely to be the right answer but it's my best guess for the moment. Does it look like it's wielding that polearm or just chomping on it?
<E> I think I may have it.
"Argus Panoptes (Argus "all eyes") is a giant with a hundred eyes. He was also the nymph Io's brother."

He's the one that gives us the legend about the peacock I think, the spots on its feathers are the giant's eyes placed there after he was defeated by Hera.
That still only counts as one!
