    RE: The Comic

Do not be so quick to underestimate vampiric children with bats, Jwmblade, ol' chap!

I mean, after all Tito is a vampire of clan Brujah as old as the Prince himself. And those nasty Brujah vampires are naturally atuned to Potence (the discipline or vampiric kewl power that gives you superhuman strength) and Celerity (the ability to move at super-quick speeds and potentially use your superhuman strength to take down a brick wall or someone's face :p) way more so than a Ventrue (Prince's clan) at least.

And c'mon! Look at how the guy can flip guys like no one's business!

    ...

Still, nothing fills me with more dread than Gnomes with bats. :S

@T (who is faster than me to write up posts =P): You know it!

Then, I bet my magical beans that they aint fearless. n_n

Now, if only the drama and the rhytm of the new strips could be mantained, THAT could rock.

Im just waiting here, for my fix of tito ****!ing things up.

    Go, tito, go!

    Regards,

    Mike

    RE: The Comic

    Dude, WhoTF is Tito?

I feel like I should know, or be let in on the in-joke.

Of course, it it's a character from one of them god-awful Vampire novels, you will both be docked -1 Cool Point for Name Dropping, -1 for WW Fanboy Service and -1 for Running Out of Original Ideas.

    So sayeth I' an' I.

    RE: The Comic

    Dontcha' be worrying there.

It is and injoke. One that started -by Mike, if memory serves- in some long forgotten forii with little sense yet great amounts of induced laughter.

    Ah, those days... n_n

But, as far as the comic's concerned, Tito itself is just this paperboy-turned-creature-of-the-night that was part of the Prince's coterie way back when the whole shebang started.

More on this, as I continue to drag the ol' graphite against the ol' paper.

Hehe, nice comic. I wonder if the boys are ganna get sick of how every one of Shortie's games ends with them faceing a foe too strong for them and they have to get help from superpowered npcs. I had a DM like that once it got old real quick.

    RE: The Comic

Very good stuff guys. It is pretty awesome with all the characters and the suspence building up. I love it. I guess having to worry about a kid with a bat is the least of his problems right now.

    RE: The Comic

I hear ya. Superpowered NPCs == baaaad.

It's probably a stage that all DMs pass. Happens when you underdevelop your villans, and as such they have no apparent weaknesses. PCs are less powerfull than the villain (or he would be a defeated villain right quick), and since they have no leverage over him, "the cavalry" has to come in.

PCs sometimes don't help either. Occasionally hey're in such a bloody mad rush for XP, levels, toys, etc., that they don't have the mind for narrative pace, the hushed tone in which the the delicate hint is dropped by the DM.....

Happens to the best o' em. Even Shorty.

    RE: The Comic

Hehehe, quite true. I wont actually give any comment on regards of this issue till after the next 2 strips.

Jus' a lil something we have in stock

But yes, ST's / DM's sometimes do have this little problem, so lets all hope shorty overcomes it otherwise he'll be sacked by the players... again... and he'll beat them senseless... again

    RE: The Comic

The superpowered NCP's have there place and some stories require then to make an appreance. I would say that they are well placed in the current story. The Prince would not have hired some PC's that could have defeated him in the end.

    RE: The Comic

    Actually.

Im rooting for another line of thought entirely on whats happening.

And it has obfuscate and Dementation.

    And the biggest pair ever.

    Mike

    RE: The Comic

I'm likeing where Mike is going... Haven't had a single Child of Malkav this entire story. Well other than the one that Mark was thinking about, but that doesn't count.

Besides, only the Prince has acted like he sees all these dead vampires... The others where just wondering what was going on...

    Malkavian Primogen to the rescue!

    RE: The Comic

The Prince does seem on the verge of going around the bend. Hmm, maybe Thadeus is the only one who can see them hope we find out what's going on soon, I can't wait for the next comic.
    Scratchit: But he's a cripple!
Blackadder: He's not a cripple, Mrs Scratchit. Occasionally saying "Phew! My leg hurts!" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick!

    RE: The Comic

Actually Twitch, Joseph Griffin is quite a malkavian kinda guy.

He eats his froot loops sideways and with a hammer...if you get my drift.

    Mike

    RE: The Comic

If I knew who the hell that was. But yes eating fruit loops sideways with a hammer is the only way to do it if you ask me.

Oh hehe, and I just remembered the title of this issue... kinda gives it away...

(Downward Spiral into... for those who don't remember or don't read the titles.)

    RE: The Comic

I haven't been here for a while to lend my support, but I will catch up now by saying that I'm really sorry for this story arc to end, although I'm pressing reload almost every second just to see how it's going to end.

    Thumbs up Archer and Wally.

So Hail to thee O Pizza Cats, and ring your little bell, although your only pen and ink, we know you'll fight like...PIZZA CATS!
