Re: EPSC's "Just Do it" Discussion Panel

Haven't thoroughly researched Avarial yet. Giants are as follows:

Well for one, we need to establish which giants. Trolls, Ettins Ogres are brutish and tend to only have sex for the simple sake of reproduction and some might have some sadomasochistic tendencies...

Smaller giants like hill, stone and frost, are more prolific than their larger cousins. Good-aligned giants tend to be more emotional when it comes to sex, love and relationships.

Other than a longer gestation, giant pregnancy is similiar to human's. A birth of a cloud or storm giant is usually preceded by some mists/fog or a storm. This is caused by the concerned clan. The cries of the mother as she gives birth can be heard for miles. Mulitple births are more common in smaller giants and are not given much attention. The birth of twins or triplets is cause for celebration by larger giants.

Now back on the topic of Avariels, I asssume they operate similar to normal elves, though I will see what I can find out.

Probably a stupid question, but can any undead creatures reproduce?

Id assume not, and the only way to increase their population is to kill others. But sometimes DnD throws curveballs to common sense

Indifferent [:|] Re: EPSC's "Just Do it" Discussion Panel

Yes. As horrifying as it sounds... Yes.

Just what is born depends on the undead. Vampires can spawn 'dhampirs' or katanes or whatever your culture calls half-vampires. Mindless undead cannot really reproduce, but if you cover them in clothing of gentle repose, you can 'preserve' the life within. Ghouls who were pregnant before they became undead give birth to Ghul who are gaunt and hunger for flesh. The child of a zombie (via Gentle Repose) is a Ghaeden. The merging of a spirit like a ghost or a spectre and mortal is a Fetch. All and all, the birth of a half-undead is a rare thing. Dead-on-dead does not reproduce for some reason. Most half-undead are the result of sick experiments by necromancers.

Yes, I would imagine Necromancers experimented like that...is pretty weird though having the half-undead, never even crossed my mind.

Well I did a piece on elves... And since they are evil elves as well as matriarchical, I assume they are rough, sadistic and demeaning towards males (possibly even rape?). This is all speculation of course.

Are you sure it was a girl and not a Ghul? :P

Wow, thanks for that info though. I really didnt think it was possible for reproduction to happen. But yet Ive actually heard of some of those monstrosities--namely ghuls and fetch. But I really wasnt sure what they were when I encountered them, and didnt think they were offspring

That stuff is just freaky though

I'm pretty sure that it's just a zombie baby girl since Dawn of the Dead follows differnt rules and laws of physics than D&D. In any case, more question!

The uterus or egg of a female.

And as for Duegar. I think they operate like dwarves. I'll get back to you if I find any differences.

How do different species view inter-species romance and sex? There's obviously plenty of Humans out there who would do anything to anything but how do other species view this?
