What's our idea for equipment? Are we going to name them after real things, internet things... what? I know someone talked about different fish equipment on the previous thread...
Also, since I'm the guide, I can be sort of like "Now for your first fight!" and you fight the obligatory blob creature....
So why not fight Blob-o from my previous comic? Heheh, seems kinda funny. He's just a green blob with a mouth. Hell, RM2K3 comes with a blob sprite and blob battle monster sprite, right? Don't even need to edit anything, just say "He's Blob-o! Fight him!" Makes sense since he isn't very strong and..... Well, you get the idea. Good idea, eh?

Hero: Well I don't think-
Me: GOOD! I'll let you fight Blob-o as your first fight!
Blob-o: *appears* Huh-what?
Me: Blob-o, fight him.
Blob-o: Dude, what? I was playing Warcraft!
Me: Shut up and show this newbie how to battle on the forums.
Blob-o: You owe me.
*Battle*
Blob-o: I can't feel my body.... Can I go now?
Me: Sure, thanks. Well newbie, now that you know how to battle, go out there and..... uh, do stuff. Maybe the administrator will give you a quest!
And you can come back to me and I'll tell you tips about battle conditions, weaknesses to elements, secrets to finding a few hidden treasures, and the like.
To spice it up, I can own a two-story house (orange walls inside and out, brown roof, do-able?) and I'm in every room of the house (though in one space at a time, like you enter the house, go in the door, go to that map, but I'm there as well..) so I can have sorta the whole "I'm in every room to teach you a new thing" thing going.

[Edit 2] I just got a GREAT idea on how the storyline works! A guy comes home and decides to register on the TWC forums. He decides to make his username "Hero". Suddenly, lightning strikes, and he is pulled into the TWC forums, fo-real! Seems everyone else in the TWC forums was pulled in long before him, and were able to set up a society based on the forums (which would explain how people walk around [or lurk] and give information... why I, the guide, am telling you to fight when fighting isn't actually in these forums). Since time goes faster in the forum-world than the real-world, that also explains how the system was built so fast!
I also have an idea for the roleplaying forum continent. Just have a bunch of medieval monsters and stuff there.... Although, last I checked, the RP forum was pretty empty... Maybe make one tile ^^
