I'm not at his comic right now, but I can tell you that one of the backgrounds is from the "Oracle of Seasons" game opening from Legend of Zelda, on the Gameboy color. ((Or "Oracle of Ages", but I think I'm correct there.))

I'm glad his comic's not dead... I like it very much. It's been sitting in my bookmark now for awhile, and I've been checking it when I felt the urge, and now that I'm satisfied, I say, "MORE, MORE!"
