    RE: Adventure #1

Afraid not, I've got a few demons of my own.

    :: you mean me, don't you ::

    *sits down on the hillside*
Don't let me stop your playing, I'm really just out here for that...
*points up at the moon with his index finger, baring his ring*

What's the point of a hero with no one to save?

    Le sigh

    RE: Adventure #1

Good... I still need to kill more 664 priests to break my curse... and I don't want any more fighting today...

    *continues to play his harp*

...now what's with that ring of yours ? It glows in a rather mystical way...

    "Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo"
I will f*** you in the ass and mouth
    Catullus, XVI

Things do sound more profound in Latin...

It only glows this way in the moonlight, it's restoring its energy, you see.

    Sorry, it's a... family secret.
*smirks then hops to his feet*
Of course, I'm sure the details of your curse is a matter you keep to yourself too...

You're quite right on that... but I'm sure I have told many people about it after a few pints of beer... haha...

((You have no idea how silly it looks to do serious RPing with a Big Bird avatar...))

((very My avatar kinda fits my character, in his more moody times))

You seem quite jolly for a cursed man.
    *looks at his ring*
How about you play a bit longer, then we can go down to the tavern at the foot of this hill, and I'll see just how many beers it takes to get the story of that curse of yours out of you?

    RE: Adventure #1

Heh... I'm sure you know how it is... sometimes all we can do is laugh at our own disgrace...
    *stops playing*
Let's go inside now... I have some sorrows I'd like to drown in alcohol... and something tells me it'll rain tonight...
*puts his harp away inside his trench-coat*

*Lolli looks to MARKed, and licks her lips*

"I've really gotta find something...  Um...  Err...  Well, why don't you go ahead to the Inn, and I'll catch up later, alright?"

*she turns and begins to wander to the center of town*

Each day that comes is one day closer to Pedro's demise.

    And no oompa-loompas.

    RE: Adventure #1

    Rain, huh?
*looks up at the sky and notices dark clouds have already half covered the moon*
*under his breath*Great, maybe it'll clear up later.
*he look at his ring, then back up*
A few drinks sounds like a good idea, my treat.
*smiles slightly then turns around to head back down the hill to the tavern*

*after giving up her search for any farmers still awake at this hour, Lolli heads to the local tavern, pulls a seat up in a corner booth, and orders a pint of ale*

    RE: Adventure #1

*As the moonlight cascades over the sleeping town and all the merry drunkards return to their warm homes. A lone figure of a boy look downed upon the quiet houses and farms.*

*Suddenly a large gray wolf, as big as a horse, sat by the boy's side. The boy loveingly fondled the wolf's ear and stroked him gently. Then in a soft voice, he whispered to his companion,

"You hate them, don't you? Well, I hate them too? I hate every single one of them. But don't worry my friend. In three days, this land that they stolen from us will be ours again. Wait untill the pack arrives. Then we shall show how much we hate them".

*With one last pat on the head. The wolf turned and returned back to the woods. Then the boy walked into town.*

*steps outside his house* That boy and his wolf.... what does he think he'll accomplish? *stares into the forest* I'm not really sure what good it'll do to warn the town, were farmers not warriors... It'd only raise a panic... Perhaps that women with a sword might be of some help?*Pulls his trusty pipe from his pocket and searches his other pocket for a match* "Aww crumb I'm outa matches"

MARKed entered the tavern, he had wandered through town before going to the tavern and thus Lolli was there before him. He sat down next to her.

    "Any luck?"

    RE: Adventure #1

*Outside the Tavern, the boy was striking a conversation with one of the guards*

Boy:"...so there is only eight guards? You and your friends do a great job at keeping the peace."

Guard. "Well, we have to kid, do you think the Imperial Army gotta care about some small village in the middle of nowhere?".

    boy:"I guess."

Guard. "You worry too much kid. I got the parameters covered. By the way, you're new."

boy: "The name is Nil, I'm a scout for a upcoming traveling circus. Just checking the audience".

Guard: " A circus. Haven't had one in a long while."

boy: "Well, you're going to get blown away in three days sir. It's nothing like you seen before".

Guard: "Ha, lets hope so kid"
