    Re: New Issues

I don't think we have seen the last of Archie. However for now lets us enjoy a magical duel between a hot, Elven wizard and a rugged, Human sorcerer. If only they could have sold tickets, it would be a sell out.

    Jwmblade:

Wow! Kayless your art just gets better and better. The last frame with Castor in it really struck me. Amazing stuff and good to see some ass kicking.

you know, not only was blade right, but I realised that I hadn't noticed either, until I decided to look back a year and then it hit me

"***, I've been seeing the developement gradually over time, so I didn't notice, but I should have" Smile

much cleaner outlines, better shading and highlighting (the hair highlights are wicked now) and all and all a much, much better graphical experience! Way to go K-man!

I compared 67 with 250 (which in my opinion is by far the prettiest issue as of yet, graphic-wise). I suggest others should as well to get a better idea of how far Kayless have come in his DCI art Smile

    Re: New Issues

Hey guys. The latest issue turned out longer than I expected (about ten frames now, instead of the normal five or six).  I didn't have time to get the whole thing finished and didn't want to chop it up into two issues, since it flows better as one. Hence the lack of an update this week. But next week's issue will be extra long.  I hope you find it worth the wait. Cool

    Re: New Issues

I'm sure it will be a good one, probably something for all the Arudin fans out there.

    Re: New Issues

Whew! I thought I'd never get this issue done. Between longer hours at my day job and the sheer length of this issue I'm surprised I completed it at all. Stick out tongue  But it's an important issue so I figured it would be worth a little extra effort.  Episode #252: Showdown is now up and running. Enjoy (or not, as is your prerogative).

I'll probably do an Ask Arudin next week. It's been awhile since I've done one and I could use a break from intense action sequences. Wink

Go Arudin! Ganelon is down for good. Great magic fight Big Smile. Somehow though I doubt the sanger has passed.

Foolish Ganelon, never do more than a move-action when you're at 0HP. Stick out tongue

PS: I expected more blood, but it still rules that Arudin punched a hole in Ganelon. Devil

It's sort of like the lightsaber effect. The wound was cauterized by the searing magics and thus little blood.

    Re: New Issues

I guessed as much.  I usually wouldn't condone the 'but you're already dead' scenario, but we all know in D&D that you can be sitting at 0HP and be okay as long as you don't stress yourself.

Besides, I thought it was cool. That's a pretty good excuse in and of itself. Cool

Precisely. It's your comic and you can do as you please with the cast.

    Re: New Issues

*sigh* Finally back on my actual computer after hassling with changing rooms and the like! Anyways...

Awesome issue, Kayless. Ganelon finally gets his just deserts. Wink

Okay, so that's 2 down, 1 other villain's fate unknown, but what about Lucia? Did she die falling down that slope or is she lurking around as a chicken & gonna have one last hurrah or something?

Oh, and I take it Ganelon's final words are supposed to be a subtle reference of sorts?
