I wasn't saying you should start one Qesun, merely that we could use another good one.

Also, Pizza I hope your realize that you are in-fact still in the Dark City RP, just wanted to make sure you knew. And were we not going to continue in the Adventure?

Twitch are you going to be playing here?

Hmm yeah, I am interested in it; Have been roleplaying for like 13 (14 in january) years now and have never tried this forum based rpg stuff. Now all I need to do is find a game to join; Any suggestions?

I figured the Bar would be an interesting place to post because I thought that it would be just that, a bar where people rp. I could hang out there and get to know people and move on to something more later; however by the looks of things they are in the middle of something with zombies and such. (not at the bar by my guess.) So It would be hard to just waltz in and start roleplaying.

You could come into the stereotypical dungeon thread.. just have your character come up and introduce himself to the party...

I ended up getting called into work early this morning anyway because the normal manager was sick so I took over.

(EDIT: If anyone here doesn't normally check the Sign-Ups Thread for the RPG room which is in the general chat area, go check it out. I am going to be posting information about a new game in a few moments.)

Is anyone interested in my Discworld game? So far Magic Minotuar is the only one to sign up; I can't run a game with only one player!

RE: OOC Thread, so we don't clutter the games with this crud.

Well you could It wouldn't be any fun but you technically could. By the way, any more of the 'Ehlonna should/shouldn't be out' argument goes in here. However if Pizza argues much more I may start liking the coma idea .

Anyway, the Discworld thing looks really fun guys, if Twitch is a good DM. But by his posts I judge that he is pretty good. Take a look at my Discworld character in my character profile to see what the characters are like (and it doesn't take as long to make as it seems, as you guys know I just like going into lots of detail ). But it'll be fun if more people join in and actually try to RP.

RE: OOC Thread, so we don't clutter the games with this crud.

I really do think it is going to turn in to a really good game, should enough people play (at least 3-4). I’ve got a good story line going in my head with lots of different events that will be happening. You don't even have to follow the main "plot" to enjoy the game because there are so many other things you can be doing at the same time.

As for being a good GM, well my friends seem to like my games a lot and I am very good at going off of things on the fly should a player go in a direction I never planned on.

I just hope that people aren't being scared away by the whole "rules" thing, the rules are insanely simple; they are almost not even there. Just read the Risus rule book I posted a link to in the sign up thread. The only thing that will be different about this game and all the other games is you won't be able to make some uber bad ass character; you will be a starting character just like everyone else. The thing is a starting character isn't that bad, since Risus doesn't use levels or anything a starting character could still tear things up, he just has a harder time because he has less dice to roll with than a more powerful character.

RE: OOC Thread, so we don't clutter the games with this crud.

I read through the entire rule"book" in like 10 minutes. And I only needed...what? 2 or 3 clarifying questions before I made my character. Rules on this forum seem like an awesome (and previously unseen) idea , and the simpleness of these make it even nicer. People think however "Rules! There's going to be like three books like the DnD rules huh!? I know there are you're just lying to me!" But it's really not, the rules aren't even enough to make the little sliderbar in notepad go all the way up .

RE: OOC Thread, so we don't clutter the games with this crud.

Yeah totally, and if you want to play a wizard there is only a tiny bit more information to read on that website that I posted showing how I am going to be handling magic. Even then there arn't any new rules, all it is saying is that you can't just take the Wizard Cliche because that is too broad of a cliche, you must choose something like Hedge Wizard or Pyromancer or Diviner.

This is to make it so that the wizard character isn't goessly more powerfull than any other character by being able to do pretty much anything with their magic, plus I am allowing you to take more than one magical cliche so you could be a Healing mage/war mage so you can sling offensive spells as well as heal your comrades.

Hehe, I wouldn't know I like bashing people's heads in. I'm always the fighter in tabletop DnD Heck just take a look at my two characters here A minotaur and a barbarian. Wee I love RPing.
