I want to see a mod for the game so you can get "super hoplites" with a 20 mile long spear.

20 Miles long... Not even the biggest ognagers would pose a problem.

Alright, holding up a 20 mile long pole would pose problems, and no trees grow that high, and making a 20 mile long pole of steel would be awesomely heavy. But so what? It's 20 miles long! Nothing within 20 miles of a phanalanx would survive.
