I sort of have the feeling I don't belong here because I can't draw. At all. In any fashion. But do you think that Dan would mind if I wrote a Fanfiction about EGS. (It would be a cross over with some thing else at first) I really want to ask him but he hasn't responded to my e-mail. Should I take that as a "no my characters! Stay away!" or just that he is being Dan and hasn't responded yet.

Any way. If any one has input I apriachait it.

Well...

1)Dan takes forever to check his e-mail. I sent him one awhile ago and he answered a month later. Don't read to much into that.

2)Check out what it says about it on the FAQ...

I have an idea for an EGS story. Should I send it to you?

While I appreciate the attempted contribution, I have more than enough stories planned as it is, and I prefer to use my own ideas.

3)I've know Dan to be really protective of his characters.

I guess in all I really don't know. You got to wait for Dan, I guess.

Thanks very much. I'm glad to be here Pip. Any way I knew about the FAQs but I didn't know if it applied to Fanfic. ( But thank you, I supose that that implys no fanfic too.) It's too bad I had a great story.

well maby you can just give it to Dan, because people make fanart too, so wouldn't that be the same?

well yeah but I'm not sure if he watchs the show I'm crossing over with. (I'm not saying. It's gotten me in troble in some circles) But i was thinking about that. Do you think if I sent in a sample of my writing he would alow me to compleat the peice?

I think what would be the wisest thing to do is, to send Dan an e-mail, informing about this, and ask his permission, just in case, and tell him that you're a fan and that this is like your fanart to him.
If may take a while before he responds, but I think that you would rather have that, then an angry Dan...

To Pip: No it is not by far the end of the world but the story that I would like to tye EGS in to is allready up and posted with a few fans at a fanfiction site. I have a seperat story that could/would mail just to him.
