Modern day science has been used to try and expel myths of sorcery and witchcraft.
However there are still come that know of these ancient arts.
Corrupt regimes try to overthrow them and harness their power.
This is our time to raise up.

The year is 2034 and the world is not as it seems, governments has formed together to make the world alliance which governs the world under one set of rules and currency. Transport is free to anywhere in the world and no questions asked, only a few areas called the castland is not under the governments control. This is were one army of rebels live and mutilate anyone who comes into their land. We dont have country names anymore, just sectors.This is a great time for equality, or so the powers that be would have you believe. Infact the world is slowly becoming poorer and poorer with only those in the government (the world alliance, T.W.A) are profiting and becoming richer by the day. The leader of T.W.A is called Panx Lohkaf (he's roughly 6 foot tall, grey hair muscular build and intimidating eyes, hes 65 years old) and he has personally abolished all religions and ideals of magic, replacing them with "fact" after "fact" that hes had made up to turn the population to his will. This black hearted leader knows a little about sorcery but wants to capture all of the magic users in the world and experiment for his own purposes on them. The rebels also want to catch and harness the power or magic, making this world a unsafe place for magic users.

Each one of the magic users that raise up are on a mission to overthrow the T.W.A, a mission that cannot be accomplished singlehandedly or be taken lightly.

Each of the magic users also has a creature that accompanies them whereever they go (and the roleplayer controls this character as well as their own). However keep in mind that magic users and being sought after by people so i wouldnt make the creature too big. However if you want to you can.

Each character can have around 3 powers and the creature that accompanies them can only have 1. So in essence you can cast 2 spells or use 2 powers at the same time for some fun effects;).

Character

Name: Serapion

Age: 19

Appearance: 6'foot tall, medium tan, black shoulder length hair, muscular build. Wears black baggy jeans, a tight blue t-shirt and has a red and black hoody that he only wears when it gets cold.

Backstory: As a young child Serapion lived in the castland, his parents had a small farm that the rebels would come to and trade for food. Serapion had a happy childhood growin with his parents and being taught how to use magic, however the rebels didnt know that they were magic users and one day caught Serapions father levitating a heavy crate onto a shelf. That night the rebels came back for Serapions parents and took them both, Serapion hid and wasnt found so the rebels left assuming he had run off. This was when he was 12. Serapion went to the nearest town and told the guards at the gate that the rebels had killed his parents and left him to die (not telling them about the use of magic) and they took him inside and gave him a foster home. There he continued to practice magic and live on his parents legacy. However when the foster parents saw him practicing when he was 16 (he got away with it for 4 years) they called the authorities. The police came within minutes and Serapion was forced to fight, all of his builtup anger unleashed at once and a wave of fire consumed half of the sector, the only survivors of this were Serapion and an eagle that had been transformed by the way of fire. The eagle now had the ability to talk and Serapion adopted him as his pet, his only kindred spirit in the world (or so he thought until he meets all of you guys). He named the eagle Fury, and from that moment on decided that he would never be left in peace until he avenges his parents and overthrows the T.W.A so that all magic users can come out. A dark man with a hateful vengeance on his shoulders he wants to unite the world under a new order, one of magic with him as the leader.

Powers: The ability to make and control fire (im counting  that as 2 powers). Can leavitate extremely heavy objects (including himself and other people) and move them were he wants.

Fury's (his pet) powers: Has the ability to go invisible.
