I used to make this sprite comic back a few years ago. I thought I'd show up and see if anyone remembered it. I've given it a nice little shrine for its final resting place now:
http://www.ele-mentalfury.com/It started as a tribute to 8 bit theatre when he had just below 100 comics. I wanted to make him a fan comic and then after making one or two realized he didn't post fan comics. I had my own website with fun random stuff on it so I threw my comics in a picture section there. As time passed I made more and more so it got its own section. I later joined this community and got into the top 100 when anyone could hit #1 if they made a funny strip or spammed yahoo chats until they got votes (hah). Here I learned the hate a lot of people had for sprite comics because they were often more succesful than hand drawn comics (writing > art). Lots of flame wars broke out and that eventually led to the breakdown of the massive collection of sprite comics around. People lost interest because they were getting hated on. I had a lot of fun here too but didn't get much support for the comic.
Regardless, here it is. If anyone is interested in seeing what the 88 comics I've created have to offer you're more than welcome. The Interface section has a flash tool that lets you scroll through the comics 20 at a time.
