Lain nods, and slips down the stairs after Ryvaken, glancing back down and up the stairs, and looks over to Zelda. "Please, take rear guard." He looks over to his father and nods to him. "If something breaks out involving firearms... I def beef, you meat shield?" He asks, using abbreviations and slang as he glances out the window, watching Ryvaken's progress for a few moments before following. He attempts to lay a gentle hand on Chris’s shoulder, and move him further back into the party. “Scout, meat shield, sub-warrior, scholar, sub-warrior. Staggered line in case of mega-shot.” He would then take a spot slightly to one side and behind his father, so that he can duck behind his father for combat if necessary.
((Above terms used for those not enlightened. Carl and Zelda would probably understand. Chris… maybe not:
Scout – mostly self explanatory. Eyes, ears, and stealth.
Meat-shield – warrior great in close combat, also usually able to take the most hits out of the party.
Sub-warrior – someone not quite as tough as a meat shield.
Scholar – a delicate smarty
Def beef – use defense increasing effects, usually done on a meat shield to make them an even better meat shield, or on others to keep them from falling in the first few volleys.))
((And just so you know Ryv, all you were asked to do first was look out the window, then wave the others over or not. Someone else would definitely have been willing to actually open the door for you.))
