I agree with Mystik, is the game going to be in this thread? I would suggest starting a new one and asking Prince Karo to move this thread to the signup section, that way this one can be used for ooc talk for this game as well as keep all the character information seperate so that if anyone wants to join once the game has started they wont be posting in the middle of a scene.

Alright then it seems this is going to be a high school/college; there will be dorm rooms then I assume. Cool I'm getting a good idea of what the school looks like.

Some more questions: The example character was hassled for his powers, does this mean that they are very uncommon and those who are known to posses unnatural abilities are feared, mistrusted, and even hated? Is this school a haven for people with strange powers ala X-Men or is this a regular school and we don't know for sure if anyone else at the school has powers?

it should be fornormal people, that way we can have reactions and conseqeunces for using our powers and not go nuts with them constantly.

Name: Catrina Shueller

Age: 25

Gender (crossbreeds allowed:) Female

Appearance: 5'5" skinny with just past shoulder length blonde hair. She has green and and is very attractive. She always wears about a mid to upper theigh skirts and some sort of shirt unless she is in fencing class or a tourny but will fight in the outfit any time else.

Powers/Skills: She has very good persausion skills. She has minor abilities to affect people's thoughts and minor telepathy skills. She has some archery skills but uses those very rarely.

Weapons: She uses a single rapier.

Occupation (optional:) fencing teacher.

Bio: This is her first year as the fencing teacher and she is new to this school. She doesn't know anyone in the area and no one knows her. She was a world champion rapier fighter. She has been in several tournments ever since she was in high school and has won everyone that she has been in. Since this is her first year teaching she doesn't know what to expect. She will try to be very considerate of the students and if there is trouble, she won't hesitiate to put a stop to it. She is very muhc by the book but will let something things slide every now and then. She has studied all of the different fencing styles and some of the similar areas like kendo and medievil fighting. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to fighting with any type of sword.

Others: She is always walking around with her rapier in its sheathe attached to her belt.

Let me see if I can understand what you are saying. The school should be for normal people and when we (the different ones) use our powers we could have positive or negative reactions from the normal people in the school, so then we would have to limit the use of our powers. Is that what you are saying?

Sorry for not being on for awhile. I have had some personal problems lately and I may only be able to post from time to time.

Not a problem, if we get the game started soon it won't matter as much as we can entertain ourselves through roleplay/character interaction.


Yeah I think what he means is we are in the minority and will be unable to go willy nilly with our powers without drawing attention to ourselves; attention that will most likily consist of "anti-mutant" propaganda that may make using obvious powers in public more trouble than it's worth.
