I for one can't wait to see it.  Of course, being the RPG whore that I am, I loved FF VII.  It's one of my all time faves.  Just seeing those trailers for "Advent Children" gets me wanting to go back and play it again.  I just hope they don't spend too much time going over the whole "Aeris is dead!!! OMG!!!!!!1111!!!  WTF!!!111!!!" thing.  Sure it sucked that she died, but there was way more to the game then that.  From what I've seen, I know they've included a remake of the scene where Cloud releases her into the water, plus there's also a scene with the two of them in a field of flowers reminiscent of Squall and Rinoa from FF VIII. 

Thoughts?  Opinions?

My opinion on the whole thing is "Eh".   I would've been alot more excited about it a few years ago, back when FFVII was newer, but I've just kinda lost interest in it since then. 

I'll probably still check it out, though.

Well since it's so much later, I have seen it (a looooong time ago now) and it wasn't great as a stand-alone thing. But as an aside to FF7 and the new onslaught of games that are coming from it, it was definitely worth watching. Sephiroth vs. Cloud was cool, if an under-explored aspect of the movie.
