I like a mocktail called the Green Devil.

Muddle mint and sugar, add ice and lime juice then top up with lemonade. Yum.

Cranberry and orange juice over crushed ice is a good mix too.

@ Morrigan - That sounds very refreshing. But then living in Perth you probably have bunches of refreshing recipes.

 

@Vkm - Well lets just say that I don't remember many times that I got into the vodka and there are many stories about what I did that I hope are exaggerations on the part of fellow drunks.

Kids should not be having alcohol... I hope that was a one-time thing and you'll do wise to wait until you are 21 for more.

That being said, I find I like the classic magarita (with lime) to taste great. My casual alcohol of choice is Mike's Hard Limeade/Lemonade/Berry.

Some of my friends drink, usually only on special occasions/parties. In which case, I or anyone else sober has full authority to take the damn bottle and pitch it over the soundwall when we decide they've had enough.

That's a good trick, PoB, but its success depends on what kind of drunks your friends become when plastered. Friendly Drunk is fine, Surly is bearable but Mean Drunk is dangerous.

I don't drink, tho I have been allowed to try some on special occasions, since my parents belive in letting the children try a little on occasion, instead of completely prohibitating it, since they are sure that would be the best way of getting kids into drinking

I've had some, or rather plenty, of oppertunities to get drunk, but I have a strong enough will to say 'no'
. I'll wait until I'm 18, legal age of drinking... ofc, I don't belive that will mean I have to get drunk... hell, I'm going to avoid it if I can... I don't think getting drunk is evil, but I do think it's f***ing stupid to drink just to get drunk

one time when I was at a wedding in Estonia (last summer in fact), on the party after the ceremony a man who must've been somewhere around his 80's drank a wine-glass full of vodka... he had to take a break after half the glass to drink some water
(it was a bet, he won it ^^)

Mm, of the three who are most likely to get shitfaced, ones a loud, but friedly drunk. Complete with off-key singing, albiet less off-key than when she's sober. >.< One gets overly friendly, and the third is really really giggley.
