Morrigan:With his Banite father as a role model, Mac could a couple of ways if his relationship with Bea progresses. He could unconsciously mimic his father and try to control Bea as a way of ensuring he isn't abandoned again. Bea would rebel herself, forcing him to grip tighter to keep her and things would spiral downwards from there. Or Mac's habit of self-reliance has become so ingrained he can't open up to the woman he loves. It depends on what his mother was like. Was she a Banite too?
She was not. She was a very gentle and elegant person who loved art and music (how she ended up with Mac's father is anybody's guess). Overall she was the "good little woman" who pretty much did what her husband told her, but Mac's father still felt she coddled him. She was killed when Mac was eleven or twelve, caught in the crossfire of some Zhentarim-related skirmish. Mac blames his father for this and it's been a major source of strife between them.
Morrigan:Teagan has an easier time of it. Yes, she was kicked out but now she is her own boss. Castor isn't going to defy her (and risk his nookie privileges) so unless she starts pining for the company of drow, they are sorted. Living with a viciously jealousy priestess might be a bit taxing on Castor, though. Of course, if his eyes stray too far, Teagan will render him down to shoe polish. That's a fair incentive for fidelity considering all Castor seems to want from a relationship is sex.
Actually Ganelon is the boss, and he treats her like crap. Teagan likes the idea of being alone in a crowd, but the thought of being truly alone terrifies her. That's why she sticks with the Shadow Pack despite Remus and Ganelon. Mac's probably the closest thing to a friend she has. Teagan actually has very low self-esteem. Yes, she's beautiful but so were her sisters. And on the surface most people are too afraid of her for being a drow to appreciate her looks. Being flattered and adored is something she's never really had, which is why she first started to fall for Castor (the fact that she thinks he's cute doesn't hurt either).
Castor was initially just interested in her for her looks, but over time he's developed real feelings for her. As an orphan, he's never had a real family before so if he gets an honest chance at that he'll grab on tight and never let go (which why I think he'll be a loyal spouse despite his history to the contrary). His skirt chasing may just be a way of looking for the affection he never received as a child (okay, he has an overactive libido too). ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/emotion-2.gif)
Morrigan:Remus needs to be spayed for the good of civilisation everywhere. I don't think there is a female strong or determined enough to bring him to heel.
Probably not. Taking him out of the gene-pool would save future generations a lot of grief. ![Wink [;)]](/emoticons/emotion-5.gif)
