"I've been thinking about this a while now, and it's becoming more and more clearer to me in retrospect that most KNC members were pretty nasty to me. If I wasn't complaining then I wasn't noticed. Simple as that. I was ignored if I wanted any crits on my comics and when I complained I got the response "We don't care." I realise that's a pretty stupid thing to complain about but I bet if it were the same comic but done by someone else then everybody would flock with the comments. (note: I'm not asking anyone to read my comic now, I'm just saying when I DID ask for opinions I got nothing or next to nothing)
That's not the only double standard commited though. I remember the KNC's rules once stating "no swearing (except in Therapy) or insulting members" yet I was usually sworn at and insulted. Whenever I posted up with some info about something I usually got the response "Why do we care what you think?" or something along those lines. If someone like Kuro or Mod had said the same thing would they have got that response? And with the "Stay on Topic" Threads I created, what did people do? Went off-topic. Again, I didn't see that happening in others' topics so why should mine be different?
Also, I intentionally stayed out of RP-ing because when I did and came up with say, a world-destroying spell that you can't block or absorb (a final spell if you will) I usually got either "stop God-Moding" or "Oh, I can absorb that." First, absorbing spells in RPs is a God-moding of a FAR higher caliber, and second, it's a FINAL spell, last resort. Maybe another stupid thing to complain about but I feel annoyed by it OK?
Another thing is being ignored. First, the Fleet, or whatever they like to call it ignored my signing up. I asked specifically when and where to start, signed up for a place and was given absolutely NO info, badge, rank or anything like that. Second, if something important came up I was usually left in the dark until the last minute, or just not told at all. I bet if the KNC Forum HAD moved to its own place then I'd have gotten nothing about it from anyone. Plus, I gave people my e-mail just before I left so I could keep in contact with at least some of you, yet when I did, I got the response that they weren't in any mood to e-mail or some equally pathetic excuse. It doesn't take 5 seconds you know.
Now, I do realise that there are some who haven't done any of this. Lolli, Mido, BillyBobGeorgeBob, flamingspinach, Nergulch, Ralvuimago, Panzer, Tybaltus, Neko_Lover and Angel spring to mind instantly, and there are others I'm sure. But the way things were getting, I think I'd have left even if TWC hadn't blown up. I apologize for offending anyone with this, but I'm simply not happy with the way I was treated. If you'd wanted me to stay, you should have done more to make me want to stay. I may have even put up with the terrible set-up that this current version of TWC uses, but not now. It was a good community, and when I wasn't being insulted things went OK, but those insults are absorbed into me, and I don't want the "I was joking" response from anyone. If you had read into my "Bullying" thread then you'd have known that I suffered constant bullying when I was younger and I got that same repsonse from said bullies. Anyway, I've ranted on enough, thank you for taking the time to read this and I'm sorry if you didn't do any of the stuff I mentioned."
