The question is, who is going to do that banner exchange thing? Will it still be you? Because I'm still looking to get on that.

The collective will still be moderated by me, but I plan to occupy the slot I'm in until I launch my next webcomic (ETA February or March).

The collective (Black List Press) is currently not accepting any more comics, as we filled our spots just recently.

How does BWP stand for Black List Press?

So wait... your comic, even when its defunct, is going to be on it? Would I even get on anyway?

    RE: Comic No. 116: Time's a Tickin'

BWC changed its name shortly after most of the authors got together. We decided after much deliberation that the name "Black List Press" would be better... The main reason we decided to drop the BWC moniker was because another webcomic based group had those same initials.

Also, I told you why I wasn't going to accept your comic. If you forgot why, my rationale for it is at http://www.webcomic.net/shwmessage.aspx?forumid=59&messageid=240890#bm240993 somewhere within there. Your art hasn't matured at all since that post, and I'm sorry, but we have a fairly high standard of art.

And yes, my defunct comic will remain a member of the collective, but only temporarily until my new webcomic starts in February or March. Sorry, but I believe that as the founder of the group, I have every right to maintain my position within the collective. I would give that right to any of our members who might decide to quit and start a new comic, so it is not just a self-serving notion. I don't think I should have to give up a spot in a press or a collective I started especially when I have the intention of filling that spot with a new feature of my own design. I would, however, agree with your point if I had no intention of starting another webcomic and I decided to occupy a spot within the collective with a defunct comic. Since that isn't the case, though, I think what I'm doing here is completely appropriate.

Once again, I apologize that you don't meet our criteria, but we're trying to do accomplish something here and if we let your comic aboard, what keeps us from letting other comics aboard that bear the same quality as yours?

    RE: Comic No. 116: Time's a Tickin'

Idiot Farm gave me appreciation for situational comics, a genre I was not an afficionado of to begin begin. You could say that this comic helped to broaden my horizons, and the characters are unforgetable - each in his or her own way.

I felt, and still feel, honored that my comic was considered good enough to exchange links, for to quote Lichkeeg, "The comics you link to say something about yourself, both as a person and an artist." (not an accurate quote probably, but the meaning is there)

I can't but relate to *ucky's thoughts on that last comic, as I also find working on my comic rewarding, but also have known moments of self-doubt.

As we approach a new year, I wish you guys success in the upcoming comic, and I'm looking forward to what you have in store.

    Vic

So IF is officially past story now...

I hope Lichkeeg will come back to TWC when his new comic is up.
