How well do you know your creatures?

Well I figure this new forum NEEDS a game of some sort, and since my specialty is monsters, it seemed just right to make a monster quiz thread

Heres how it works...very easy you see, Im gonna post a picture of a creature of some sort, and you got to tell me what kind of creature it is.  If theres a problem with the picture or if you want more or different pictures posted, Ill post a different variation of the creature if I can find one.

You have the right to ask for clues about the creature, but the host is NOT obligated to answer the questions or give clues

If you get it correct, you get a point.  And you can have the option of posting a creature yourself and have everyone else have a shot at it, or if you dont have any monster to post, or dont want to post a monster, I will fill in for you.  If you do post a monster, I have a right to guess it too

EDIT-Oh yes, and if youre the host and you dont respond within a couple days, you are deemed Missing in Action, thus I will take over for you   This will keep the thread alive in case someone really IS MIA

    Any questions?

    So is everyone ready?

    First up:

    A very attractive fellow...

Any guesses?  Need a different picture?

You can make very lovely armor out of these things in Baldur's gate one.

    Thats an Ankheg

    Oooh...I'm going to say....umm...Popo .
    Scratchit: But he's a cripple!
Blackadder: He's not a cripple, Mrs Scratchit. Occasionally saying "Phew! My leg hurts!" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick!

I think the question should really be:  How well do you know your creatures, Tybaltus?  I mean, in the biblical sense?

Now, Twitch, do you want to post a creature, or shall I to continue?

If you want to post a creature go ahead and do it!

Youre definetly an avvid DnD player, and thus much of this knowledge is stashed away in the file cabinet in your brain

The Rakshasa is an easy one, the inverted hands are very nice, wonder how much different that would feel, really funny

Oh, is it my turn now to dig something up, or should i wait till the next one, and try to beat the gnome (sorry, for some weird reason i can't seem to be able to see any names)

RE: How well do you know your creatures?

    Definetly confident there

And for good reason.  Rakshasa it is.  They were really popular in Baldurs Gate 2.  Not very easy kills when you crossed them.

Well its your go Undertow.  Want to post your own creature or shall I dig up another one?

RE: How well do you know your creatures?

I was going to say the first one was a giant flea. At least that is what I would picture a giat flea to look like.
    H-here, b-bunny, bunny, bunny...

RE: How well do you know your creatures?

Heres what the Ankheg looked like in BG2, they were sneaky fellows who burrowed under the ground and popped up in front of you at any time.

Franky, I really like this horrid creatures
