Why Inuyasha Makes Me Want to Vomit my Brain Up

Am I the only one deeply irritated by the way the character's in inuyasha are constantly yelling eachother's names? Sometimes there is an action scene that is several minutes long, comprised of only characters yelling names at one another. It bothers me. Oooh, it makes my head hurt. Just to give you an idea, this is an actual scene from an episode a while back:

    Kikyo: Inuyasha!!

    Iy: kikyo...

    Kagome: Inuyasha? Inuyasha!

    Iy: Kagome?

    Kagome: INU-YASHA!

    Iy: Kagome....Naraku?

    Kagome: inuyasha-

    Miroku: Kagome!

    Kagome: Miroku!

    *twitches with rage*

I'm sure I'm not the only one with a major pet peeve of some anime. What gets under YOUR skin?

I think Inuyasha was just a cool concept that was poorly executed.  Kinda like DBZ... very cool concept, but they didn't know when to quit.  So you have a quick succession of "if we don't beat him, the world will blow up" starting with Raditz, then Vegeta, then Freiza, then the androids, then Cell, then Buu.  FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST END THE SERIES.  I don't know.  I really think that DBZ is still one of the greatest action cartoons of all time, but it just got so damn repetative

...Cowboy Bebop has better action...plus actual animation...FLCL has way better animation and awesome action...but it was too short...

My problem with Inuyasha is it's head style...

For pretty much all of the characters, just shave'm bald and you'd have no idea who the hell they are. Okay, an eyelash is different, wahoo...all the characters have the same heads...

    ...wee?

My problem with Inuyasha is that there are too many fillers. We all know the series could've ended a long time ago...

Or not...considering how long the manga is.

the author of inu-yasha rumino takashi (think that's how you spell it) can't end a series for her life i wish i was joking about that to i mean just look at ranma. the anime pasted the manga like 70+ eps ago think it was like eps 68 or 78 which the manga was surpassed. the series should either change villians or end i'm thinking the later cause 150+ eps with one main bad guy still i mean seriously it's worse then DBZ they at least changed enemies.

    The author is Rumiko Takahashi.

And yes, she does have a serious problem with stretching out her stories.

When I'm watching Inu-yasha, for some reason I swear Mikoru should be dead by now.

Since that anime drags on forever, like shouldn't that hole in his hand swallow him up by now.

It should at least be bigger than it currently is. Oh well. I happen to like Miroku, so I'm glad he's not dead.

-_- My favorite characters always die. *mourns Rip Van Winkle's passing* Why, Alucard? Why?!

Hey I'm an Inuyasha Fan and I've seen all up to date(eps 145). Your right about the filles theirs to many. But I think the fillers are what makes it fun. example I Like the fillers when Inuyasha goes to the present their always funny.

RE: Why Inuyasha Makes Me Want to Vomit my Brain Up

Haha! I just have to say that I've only seen a few episodes and I just couldn't get into the anime. Back in the day when I started watching anime, Ranma was popular and I watched that and couldn't get into it either.  I really only like Rumiko's stand alone anime/manga.  They are usually really different than all her mainstream stuff that lags on and on and doesn't seem to end and you wouldn't think their be an end unless something killed all the characters. Its insane!

RE: Why Inuyasha Makes Me Want to Vomit my Brain Up

you are right about Ranma it just goes on and on and on it was fun for the first couple seasons but after that I kind of lost interest another example Rumiko's work that goes on and on is Lum(can't remember the actualy name but it means 'Those Obnoxious Aliens')

I love Urusei Yatsura!  It's my all-time favorite manga!

I love Takahashi Rumiko!  But I do like it more when she does absurd slapstick than when she tries to get serious.
