    Re: The Jewels of Life

    Name: Faraleth Mokai.

    Age: 28.

Description: Faraleth stands at 6ft, with dark brown hair flung back in a pony tail, he has stubble around his chin and his eyes are strangely dark, he has a long black leather coat and dark trousers ripped and torn at the knee, his handgun hangs in a holster by his side and his claws are attached to a glove.

Personality: He is an intimidating person who is rash and quick to judge, with a total disregard for authority and acts on his own will. And will often play the loan wolf, Faraleth is not exactly the most calm or collective fellow. In fact, he’s kind of standoffish; and he will never actually open up to anyone.

Background: Faraleth was abandoned at birth, left to die in the Australian outback, but a strange drifter took pity on him and took him in, with the drifter he learnt how to survive in the harshest of environments, together they did whatever it took to stay alive, he stole, killed for money, mugged or did whatever he had to do to get money for food, then one day the drifter died, Faraleth was 16, he burred the drifter and took the coat that he was so fond of and went to look for his parents, he spent the next two years travelling around the world, searching for his mother or farther, he found there grave stones at the age of 18, they had died in a car crash two weeks previously, only then did he notice his lack of emotion, and his ability to focus on one task at a time as he then wandered aimlessly looking for the person the graves had quoted; “to my dearest mum and dad, of whom I love”, he had a sister. He spent the next 4 years searching but eventually gave up, once again he was lost, nobody he knew, nobody that knew him, he spent 6 years on the streets of New York begging for money once again. Then the earth elder, Master Zen, found him, and he began to learn the ways of the Earth magic.

Weapon you will use: Combat claws, (or Fists,) Handgun.

    Element: Earth.

    Other:

    Name: Master Zen.

    Age: 2000+.

Description: Master Zen wears long robes inscribed with Chinese runes of protection and earth magic, he holds in his right hand the Staff of the earth decorated with semi precious stones such as onyx, around his waist is a leather belt with pouch containing something special to him.

Personality: Master Zen is always calm and collective, he says little but what he dose say, he says with great wisdom of many ages, he is a most mysterious man.

Background: all Master Zen will say about his past is that he is one of the watchers, who is in control of the power of Earth, he always had a bad feeling that Vrez Malcone would always go bad, like an egg goes rotten after a while.

Weapon you will use: Staff of the Earth, Earth magic.

    Element: Earth.

    Other:

    Is this character ok?

    Re: The Jewels of Life

Yeah, your characters are fine. The only thing you would need to change is the fact that your main character trains under your mentor. That hasn't been made known yet.

    Re: The Jewels of Life

You could have just edited your last post.

Anyhow, I've made a pic of my character on UGO's HeroMachine V2.0. Enjoy.

if we're gonna make a new thread for the actual RP, then are we also gonna make a thread for OOC?

Usually the primary ooc thread or the signup thread is where all the ooc goes.

    Re: The Jewels of Life

Oops, you're right. I didn't even consider looking in previous posts. Well, your characters are accepted Aydin.

I will begin the game shortly, in the meantime here is some basic info on the first planet we will visit. If you have any suggestions to make it better, such as a new creature or landscape, please feel free to tell me and I will add it.

    ---------------------------

    Fridera, the fire planet:

    Physical Description:

Fridera is a very barren and hostile kind of world. The landscape is extraordinarily bare, consisting of mostly molten rock and sheer cliffs. Active volcanoes dot its entire surface and earthquakes are far from uncommon on its whole. Cracks upon the ground are filled with flowing magma that serve as “streams” as the humans know them. There is absolutely no greenery on the planet, as well as no water whatsoever. It consists of three major continents, Parishca, Ruinera, and Flariz.

    A Few Major Landscapes:

The Pit of Ifirtirio- A gigantic volcano that sets in the middle of the continent of Parishca. It is the largest on the planet and is used ceremoniously in their religion. Sacrifices are made there daily to the spirit of Ifirtirio.

The Ocean of Hell- A large ocean of magma that separates the three continents of Fridera. It makes contact between them nearly impossible. There is a vehicle that can transport across it, however, it is terribly difficult to construct, so many do not exist.

The Sinking Plain- An extremely dangerous area that splits the continent of Flariz completely in half. To the unknowing eye, it appears as just another barren landscape, however, extra weight put anywhere upon its surface will cause the shape of the ground to change, only to open up into more magma.

The Fortress of Fire- It is the last refuge and base for what is left of the Fire Watchers. The base sets atop an unusual hill near the northern tip of Ruinera. The whole fortress resembles that of a fireball; as the outside is nearly engulfed in flame…its best defense. The Watcher’s gladly accept anybody who wishes to join and they train rigorously in order to rebel against the Necromancer.

The Temple of Ifirtirio- It was the largest temple that had been built in the honor of the Fire Spirit. It was built into the side of one of the many gigantic mountains that lined the planet. It was a mainstay for the religious proceedings of the people, however, when the Necromancer arrived, it was left to grow dust. It is now nearly impossible to get to because of the Sinking Plain, but some say that a sullen light can still be seen coming from it from afar.

    The Residing Spirit:

The Fire Spirit, Ifirtirio: Ifirtirio is considered to be the cruelest of the seven spirits. He merely created his people as a plaything, caring very little about their livelihood. He is extremely harsh and becomes very merciless if people do not do what he tells them to do. He has been known to casually destroy whole villages when he becomes even slightly irritated, so the people tend to try to keep him in a good mood. The only way to do this was to sadly take up the art of sacrifice, which seemed to please him greatly. The other spirits shunned him for his heartless attitude and that feeling only grew when he almost declined to create the alternate universe. He thought that the unjustified war was amusing and actually helped push the two groups into battle.

    The Residents:

The Lizodians- The Lizodians are the unfortunate creation of Ifirtirio. While normally they had looked exactly like the non-users, it was found that they couldn’t withstand the abnormal atmosphere of the planet, so the fire spirit mutated them. Now they much resemble a half-human, half-lizard type creature. In their Human type form, they maintain the mortal shape, however, their entire skin resembles that of a lizard. They have a scaly look to their flesh, which is entirely noticeable. Another unique trait is that they have the ability to turn into actual lizards. The whole point of this skill is completely unknown and thus is hardly used by the people.

    Other Creatures:

The Fire Lizards- They are one of the most common creatures upon the planet’s surface. They vary greatly in size, but they all maintain the same color of red. The smaller of the lizards are generally kept as pets by the Lizodians and are very passive creatures, however, the bigger ones are much more dangerous. They generally stay away from inhabited areas, but occasionally stray into one and can cause mass destruction if now taken care of quickly. They can grow up to 15 feet in length and even bigger in height. Their mainstay defenses are the ability to light itself on fire and to breathe it as well.

The Magma Golems- These are the most feared of the creatures of Fridera. They are gigantic creatures that are completely made out of molten rock. They typically reside within the shores of the Ocean of Hell, but have been seen inland. They are very territorial beings and will not hesitate to attack something if it intrudes upon its chosen land. They are one of the main causes of the isolation of the three continents, people are just too afraid to attempt to cross.
    -------------------------------------------------- -----------

This is the first planet we will visit within the RP, so I will just put this one up for now. I will post the others as we move along in the story. Also, this is not everything we will come across. I will most likely come up with more during play, so keep an eye out for updates.

    Re: The Jewels of Life

Nice first planet. I only noticed Aydin's edit because I checked bake to see what element he was. I doubt his character will like this place. I am entriuged by this vessel which can sail on molten lava. I assume magic was used in the construction, and would like to know more about the technolgy and magic of the other planets.

    Re: The Jewels of Life

I'm planning on writing more infomation on the planets somewhat later. I was hoping to write more about the religious practices, as well as some customs, however, those are much harder to write about. As for the other planets, you'll probably have to wait until we get to them. I'm only zoning on the Fridera to begin with.

Also, you assume right with the vehicle. It is held together with magic, but again I'll explain that later.

    Re: The Jewels of Life

Apologies for my absence.  I was visiting my grandmother and thought she had internet access.  I was wrong.  As for the planet, I have no problem with it.  I'm more concerned for the nature user of our little band.  A planet with no flora does not bode well for such.
