I think the Predators have too much time on their hands. Think about it, they come from light years away to play their cultural equivalent of paint ball games on Earth. Don't they have anything better to do?

Predators are warriors and the predator (1) was most likely trying to protect itself (2) revenge (AvP) maturity rite. And in AvP humans worshipped Predators as gods.

anyway, predators never kill unarmed targets, nor do they kill pregnant women
but they do indeed see humen as lesser beings, since they come to earth simply to hunt them... but then again, humen tend to travel long distances to hunt animals that cannot be found in their own local area...

It's not that Predators are evil per say, they just view themselves as superior to all other races; everything else is lower on the food chain, we are simply prey to them. We as the prey would view them as evil just as a deer would view a human hunter as evil; they hunt for sport and are very honorable, which is why they only hunt those who can defend themselves, and have great respect for anyone to prove that they are exceptional beings. e.g. Anyone who can kill a Predator or Alien.
