Trifecta!!!  My favorite pose (Panel Seven), an Infinite Happiness Loop, and a glowing Tedd!!!

Panel Seven also has Grace's antennae cutely lowered, and the saaaaaadest story.  Luv it!!!

Plus more wisdom from Grace in Panel Three.

    That's so sweet!!!!!

And besides being cute, kudos to Dan's developing artistrty.  Each tiny detail is just right -- a lesser artist might not have let Jeremy's head go "off camera" for a couple of panels, or have done each little gesture or facial expression so well.

Hmmm.  What about the dreams does Ellen want to tell Nanase but no one else???

But whatever it is, it's good that it'll strengthen the connection between them.

Can't wait to find out where the story is going -- and why Ellen needs to tell Nanase!

Re: Story: Hold On Hope: Aug. 28

From my post to the 5/8/06 comic.

    >  "The memories I experienced were actual memories from another dimension where alternates of Kaoli and I existed and were friends ,,, or they were alternates of Nioi and Elliot who were a little different."

Well, then I'm a little disappointed.  My previous assumption was that Ellen and Kaoli were experienceing 18 years of life by exercising their free wills in an imaginary world.  But now it's clear that the both of them have been spoon-fed other peoples' memories, lock, stock and barrel.  They had zero free will within their "second-life" dreams.  So how does that count as "experiencing life?"

As I suggested many, many months ago.  If (and I'm still not convinced, but), if Nioi's rant about it being bad that Ellen's "soul" was less experienced than her apparent physical age (thereby completely discounting the 18 years of true real-life memories she shared with Elliot), then the easiest course of action would be for Nioi to draw up a reading list of good books to read and a viewing list of good films to watch whereby she could vicariously encounter life situations though the fictional characters.

So now we see the result of Nioi's handiwork.  Ellen gets a "life experience" completely devoid of any free will up to the point of tagging along on an alternate-Ellen's crush on Archie, up to the point of alt-Ellen's sleeping with Archie.

    This is pretty sick.

I still say Nioi is sick for doing that to Ellen.  Even if she didn't know about this specifically, the whole nose-beepage-get-eighteen-years-of-life-experience-with-no-free-will idea is sick.

I hope the stairs and floorboards creaked sufficiently loudly to warn Sarah & Elliot.

    Luv Grace in Panel Six.

Oooooooo.  I hope everyone starts TFing back to normal, soon.  I miss my avatar's odangos.

    >  "Logging stuff."

    >  "Providing logging material."

    ROTFLMHO!!!!!!!!

Looks like Nanase is going to ask Grace for help in reconciling with Ellen.  Maybe she needs to TF back, first.

Very nice storytelling in Panels One to Four.  Says a lot without "saying" anything.

Great image of Nanase in the wind in Panel Five.

Grace is so hopeful in Panel Six.

    Shut up, Tedd!  Shoo!  Shoo!

Can't wait for the next episode!

    WOW!!!!!

Now I see why Dan was being so careful with these last few episodes, and especially this one!!!

    Marvelous storytelling and fantastic artwork!!!

Wonderful contrast between the first and last panels.

Love the fifth row (Panels 16 to 19).
