Wow, Ellen really knows how to press "Missy Elliot's" buttons -- tease her about Sarah, and then compare her to a George Lucas movie.  ROTFLMHO!!!!!

But I'd have thought Elliot would have turned Ellen's argument around and said "I'm not a stick-in the mud -- I'm just more responsible and disciplined.  It's part of my martial arts training, and I'm proud of it!"

 

Those charts and graphs Mr. Verres made are cool!

 

Again, Missy Elliot's reaction surprises me. 

I 'd have expected her to lord it over Ellen that she was the more mature and responsible one.  Hmmm, that's a good lead-in for me to once again recommend the manga Asari-chan by Muroyama Mayumi.  Poor Asari-chan is forever tortured by her cruel older sister Tatami.  (Sorry folks, but no one's publishing it in English yet.)

 

It makes me wonder whether Elliot would have responded differently if she were still a boy?

She's definitely headed for some sort of trouble now.  And will probably be a big disappointment to Mr. Verres.

Sarah is definitely polling the wrong crowd with those questions.  And these guys had better watch out for appliance salesmen, if the thought never enters their head that "something might go wrong with the gadget."

 

We're coming very close to the edge of the question "Should the peer group force someone to TF even if they don't want to just because that's the 'theme' of the birthday party?"  I wonder whether it will make its way into the comic?

But I expect that Sarah will be calmed down and reassured and then she'll go through with it.

 

Now that the demonic duck of some sort has crashed the party, will he be there the rest of the evening?
