    RE: The Comic

Caltrops are mostly used on horses. I think if you were to make a D20 out of lead and then fling it from a sling it would be quite capable of knocking a small hole in someone's chest
    Scratchit: But he's a cripple!
Blackadder: He's not a cripple, Mrs Scratchit. Occasionally saying "Phew! My leg hurts!" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick!

I don't know about that... Are you sure they where used on horses? I doesn't seem to me they would bother them, after all they don't seem to mind having nails driven into their hooves when they are being shod...

Plus any and all pictures i have ever seen of caltrops in action where of them penitraiting the soft leather of good adventureing boots.

    RE: The Comic

    Quote from Archer:
*This product is banned in 50 US states and 48 countries.

Of course none of those countries is Mexico, 'cause there's no law in Mexico! The happiest place on Earth!

And I can only imagine how painful would stepping on caltrops be. Not even being sliced down by twin silver katanas would be as uncool as that. You see, my granpa' once stepped over a rusty, iron nail and the thing went right through his left feet. Never walked right again. Thus, I'm psichologically afraid of ever facing such a fate.

Oddly enough I go barefooted -in true, hardcore hobbit style- around 70% of the time.

    Which rocks.

Except when your feet smell like you need a Rusty Nail impaled so someone will clean it for you.

Oi! By the way, nice to see you guys jumping back on the wagon.

Now, it is a question of keeping the motion of the ocean going.

And dammit.. how about some rants for a change?

    Regards,

    Mike

    RE: The Comic

Yeah I used to go hobbit style ALL the time through my middle school and highschool years. Since I lived on a ranch the grounds was rocky and hard and I grew thick calllises (sp?) on the bottom of my feet and could walk over almost anything and not feel a damn thing. I once watched a yellow jacket try to chew through the underside of my big toe, I could feel it biting but my foot was too hard. It gave up frustraited and few off. But I did have 1 1/2 inchs of a 3 inch thorn go through my foot. I felt that! Couldn't walk for a week, it was one of them thorns from orange trees.

Violence: Not an option, THE option.

So.. When do we get the passion of the Yoshi?

I mean! cmon! think about it.

Better yet.. In a very special issue of the RantMinicomic or the ROTV you monkeys could do some Movie themed scenes with the gang. The olw gangbang! I can see it in the future. And its magnificent. *is blinded*

Now who did not see that one coming. You just knew that they would not be let off the hook that easy.

Why does the Prince look like he is wearing Mickey Mouse's gloves?

    H-here, b-bunny, bunny, bunny...

    RE: The Comic

And here i was thinking you decided to go with the whole ¨Disney Pantheon as the Antediluvians¨ idea you cooked up.

I have to say it was even cleverer than the whole Cereal mascot´s as the Antediluvians one.

I just cant picture Captain Crunch  as being the Primarch of the Lasombra line. Even though i did caught up on your Tony the Tiger Gangrel antediluvian one.

Caught by the Prince! Who could have seen that coming? The good news is that he does appear alone (no hot vampire chick ) the bad news is that he probably doesn't need bodyguards.
    Scratchit: But he's a cripple!
Blackadder: He's not a cripple, Mrs Scratchit. Occasionally saying "Phew! My leg hurts!" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick!

    RE: The Comic

Well what is he Venture? Yeah he has fortitude, he can hold his own.

    RE: The Comic

Ventrue he is indeed, but I wouldnt give a damn about fortitude. You see, he has presence and Dominate, which therefore translate to control. In a place of power, physical conflict is usually indiferent to those who walk the red roads.

    He who controls, owns.

I for my part, shed a tear for tito. Only today, when I saw the old strips, did i started to understand the rock hardy lil´ rabbler.

Godspeed Tito, godspeed. You died twice but your rockness lives on forever.

    Regards,

    Mike

    RE: The Comic

Yeah, i must admit that Wally's design for Tito was quite awesome (albeit something very Wally-like. Those of us who know him know that he has some serious fixation with both the USSR and the 50s 60s era thingy, so even if it was a nice surprise, it wasnt one with a HUGE impact). Regardless, the frame where the kid's throwing someone over his shoulder and grabbing someone else is downright spiffy... that'd surely make anybody stop dead in their tracks and reassess the situation...
