    RE: The Comic

I think wally may be the resurrected soul of Vladimir Illych Lenin. Much in the way that herbie was the possesed beetle form of Hitler.

    Hmm.. I smell a sitcom!

    Regards,

    Mike

Hey, that's my birfday present up on the main page!

    *demands compensation*

    RE: The Comic

You can tell wally to "compensate" in any way you see fit, he's the one that put that image up, so, it's his fault, not mine...

*washes his hands clean of this mess*

Now that's the support I'm talking about!

And fret not mr. Thunderhead, suhr! In order to make things up for you I will go beyond the line of duty in a certain lil *.doc we, of my clan owe yours. Of course, we could also offer a huge brick of cocaine, but c'mon who would like something like that? Really!

    RE: The Comic

Awesomeness is my second name. Like, after Ignacio.

And in all truth, I hereby do confess in control of all my faculties that I, el_Wally of the House of Chicali am a raving history geek. But indeed, although the WW2 era does indeed fascinate me, other epochs in history also have the same effect enthralling effect on me: The Civil War era, the Victorian age, the Dark Ages, la Reconquista, Mexico's last two centuries, the Mex-Am war.

And I do find the USSR particularely interesting -then again, when I was a kid I read mostly leftist comics (by Rius, a genius in his own right) so I wasn't so knowleadgeable about the atrocities of the Soviet leaders... now I know better. But still, such a massive and uncontrollable nation that could pull itself together from the brink of utter defeat by the Nazi machine by means of men, hope (or propaganda :p) and sacrifice? There's something admirable in that -even though it doesn't compensate for the Gulags or the millions of dead political dissenters.

If I were born in that place and in that era, I would surely be one of those guys that Stalin took and sent to Siberia -if not kill outright.

So... uh... where was I again?

You mean a Russian Ninja, right?

And speaking of those who delve in silence and darkness, when the hell are you guys-who-slack* gonna get the new comic on time? Its developing into a very bad habit.

Tsk tsk!, psht! and dang on you!

    Hardcore guys.

    Hardcore.

But what about the monkey? Whaaaat?!

Nice to see you dishing the Happy birthday in style Mr. Green.

Cool to see Patches old school scout trainning in his shoulder too, i knew they grew monsters there! I just knew it!  It is only validated by the Swastika Mickey on his other shoulder! Damn you Patches! Damn you and your foul practrices of doom!

Kudos on the Butterball Mad ******* Angeletti shading on that fiery spread, quite a mouth Amirault can have when shaken there. Maybe its the rampant Tourette in his flowery blood.

To end it, well. We gets´ them shadowy forms in the hiz house.

    Nice, very nice.

To be continued in frickin deed.

    Regards,

    Mike

    RE: The Comic

The monkey will yet come to pass. And his message will be one of doom and destruction.

And considering that tomorrow, April the First, is my birthday *subtle-as-a-brick hint*, I can do nothing more than lay the 'Congratulaciones!' all around the house of pain! To all those with belated 'rock ons!', a thousand apologies.

And about the strip, well glad you liked, M! Personally there's some stuff I think that came out quite el_wrongo. Like Marco's face and it's absolute oddness. Or for instance, when I visualized the sharpied monster of evil in my mind, it looked like a demon, something that would send shivers through my very spine with the chorus of baby voices chanting in obscure, forgotten languages that preceeded the passing of the beast in our world. In the end, it ended up looking like this guy. You know, the furry one. And then, my Sharpie(tm) exploded in my hand.

And that, my friends, is not cool.

Also after burning the damn thing into a CD-R (who loves you enough to sacrifice a CD-R for the comic? Who? ) I started to notice some stuff I forgot to put, for instance, a chibified version of zee xmas gift of a certain forum dweller o'er here in the empty as chucks poster in the 4th (8th?) panel.

And dude! What would you say if a 7 foot tall wall of eerie, green balefire suddenly appeared in front of you? Ah reckon it wouldn't be 'moonpie'! Mh... then again... pie... Heh, glad you saw the patches in Patches, I mean it is gonna cost m--

Ah! It seems, now is the part when the Disney lawyers come down of the roof and beat my ass and drop my body in the river. Do excuse me.

    RE: The Comic

Personally, i liked the two "Well damn, Dominated again" frames... the expressions and the fact that marco goes face first into the groud cause of his super 1337 fire-strike pose was good... quite nicely transferred from writing to drawing

Yeah, that and the Looney toons, dark dark secret.

By the by, Merry year passings Mister Green. May the world vigourously infect you with the hunger of life and the total anti slackzors to go far and away from the expectations of the world.

    Rock on, bro. Rock on.

    Regards,

    Mike

    RE: The Comic

I liked the new ep guys. With Marco losing his self-control like that, he was always the weak link. I like the group huddle between Yoshi, Marcus and Sam.
    Scratchit: But he's a cripple!
Blackadder: He's not a cripple, Mrs Scratchit. Occasionally saying "Phew! My leg hurts!" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick!

Interesting that you say that Marco is the weak Link. Interesting indeed considering what´s coming.
