    Yay!

I really liked the ending to KH. And although the final boss left me disappointed ((not in the difficulty, but in the part of the ending that involves him. I won't say what happens, in case there's anyone here who hasn't beaten it, but basically the whole final battle is moot)), the ending was beautiful. I like how Square understands that you don't have to have a magical happy disney ending to everything.

Come, see Neko Girl Jessica's Place, a haven for RPers everywhere!

Ah good. You're not mad at each other anymore.

(Click Watch this movies, ignore all the annoying pop-ups for hentai pages and enjoy. You're both insane enough to appreciate this sort of stuff...).

    HAHA! That was funny!

The best part, though, was the pre-loader. 8-Bit-Theater goodness!

    8-bit theater rules

I can't even identify many of those characters in the actual video, but I still admire the work...

(Yeah, I know Sephiroth gets whacked by the chick he kills in the game... Aeris? Aerith?)

Ah, Legendary frog... while you're there, don't forget to check out Zombie Joe, Megaman Neo, Mario VS Sonic, Broken saints, Arrogancy, River City redux, and others.

I count 57 characters total (not including moogles, master tonberries, magitechs, frogs, (do count the froglok cid though), or any of Lulu's dolls.)  Now how many can you name right off the top of your head?

    RE: Games you should play

Trying to get back on topic now...you know, it's amazing exactly how many game threads turn into FF discussion threads. The madness never ends...

    SEGA GENESIS

Mutant League Hockey - A hockey game where all the teams consist of monsters, mutants, robots and other ungodly beings. You can either win a game by scoring points, or beating members of the opposing team to death with various weapons. A very fun game to play.

    PLAYSTATION

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - I thought it was better than Lunar 1, to be honest...it's a lighthearted RPG with a very well developed cast of characters. A must have for RPG fans. Like Lunar 1, Eternal Blue comes with some goodies. It comes with the hardbound instruction manual, character standies, the game soundtrack, a "Making Of" movie, and an actual replica of Lucia's pendant.

Valkyrie Profile - Fan-friggin-tastic game. Gorgeous graphics, a great soundtrack, and one of the best battle systems ever to grace an RPG.

Tales of Destiny II - The story is a little cliche, and the voice acting definately isn't the best, but the fun battle system and large number of minigames and sidequests will keep you busy for a long time. Great RPG.

Xenogears - Just go out and buy this game.

    PLAYSTATION 2

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter - One reason to get this game is because you're getting an excellent action RPG for a cheap price. It's got some very interesting gameplay features and smooth cel-shaded graphics. Also has one of the best soundtracks I've heard in a long time.

Guilty Gear X2 (The Midnight Carnival) - Without a doubt one of the best 2D fighters ever made.

    RE: Games you should play

Dungeon Siege- Stands out for it's graphical excellence and streamlined interface.

.Hack- This 4-parter is repetetive, long, and spread far too thin content wise to justify 4 fully priced games. It is a bloated mass of cheap game design and ceases to be fun after the first 30 or so hours. One of the best other-media licensed games and a fine addition to the .hack universe.

Beyond Good & Evil- Polished excellence, the fusion of several popular genres. Go buy it!

Call of duty- it's another WW2 FPS, and it feels very familiar gamelplay wise, but it is the culmination of all WW2 FPSs. The control, the sound, the visual quality, the cinematic presentation of the Stalingrad scenario alone is a masterpiece.

    RE: Games you should play

    Einhander

The best shooter on the Playstation hell it is the best shooter ever created. It breakes the mold in so many ways that it should be a classic. You ship doesn't collect upgrades that make is more powerful, instead you must steal a weapons pod from your enemy and be sure to steal the right one for the person you are fighting or else you will die. You can only hold some many pods on the different fighters and each pod only has so much damage. Also you can use the arm on you fighter to litteraly rip weapons from enemys and you can and will use your weapon pods to protect you from enemy fire.

Also it has a freaking plot. A real plot not at 'you are are only hope against {insert danger here}'. You are part of a group of suicide pilots sent from the moon to do as much damage as you can to earth defences to soften them up for an invasion so the moon can get nitrates from earth. It even has a plot twist which I think is the best plot twist in any squaresoft game ever. It comes completely out of left field and makes you very very angry which is what is so great about it. It is also the only squaresoft game that I have had fun playing. I have never finished any FF game because I get bored with the constant leveling up to try and go on with the story. I hate any game that makes me sit around fighting random monsters when I should be trying to save the world from distruction or runing to save my true love.

Third the last level is quite simply the best level out of any game I have played. this includes armored core, mario, and every single other game I have played. It is chaotic and fast and the boss fight is truly chalanging.

    Ikuruga

It holds a special place in my heart as the only game that after I beat it using infinate lives I felt like I had truly acomplised something.

    Fallout series

After all this years it is still a breath of fresh air to the magic choked RPG marked... DAMN YOU INTERPLAY... DAMN YOU TO HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

    Armored Core series

The best giant mech series on the consul market and posible has the most changable mechs ever created.

    <finally, working BBcode, yeeaaay!!!>

Ryoko, there's no reason to threaten Ac...the Keeper was referencing a game by that name; I think it was for one of the Sega systems, but I can no longer remember...where you, well, went postal...

and as far as forgotten games that maybe shouldn't have been, what about the original PCEngine/Turbografx16 version of Bonk's Adventure?
