    FINALLY

I FINALLY finished reading the original Monkey legend. For those of you who don't know, t3h cult programme Monkey was based on a book by a sixteenth century monk (which was, incidentally, based on ancient chinese myths). For those of you interested, most of the stuff that happens in the series actually happens in the book, but Monkey himself is WAY tougher in the stories. Like, heaven sent 100,000 heavenly troops after him, and it wasn't enough... Anyway, it has a happy ending, and they all become Buddahs. Well, not Pigsy and Sandy. They just become Immortal-type people.

    RE: FINALLY

He's not in the book. Incidentally, in the Tv series, the voice of the horse is Manuel from Faulty Towers..

    RE: FINALLY

Actually, t3h horse/dragon thing is in the book (they get turned back into a dragon and absolved of sins etc. etc.) but the wierd tapdancing guy it turns into isn't. He wasn't terribly missed, IMHO...

    RE: FINALLY

I never saw any of the tapdancing series, so I'm clueless. CLUELESS!

    RE: FINALLY

Not really much of a change from the normal state of affairs. The premise was, that the dragon somehow gained the ability to change into this irritating dude (who tap-danced) that couldn't fight. IMHO, turning into a dragon may have been more useful. Anyway, he generally pranced around and gave stupid bits of cod philosophy.

No, most fish. And ironically enough, some sharks aren't included in that.
