    The Hate

I think the pencil style is old school and awesome, but they are right that it does seem out of place.  I just really like the feel of the sketchyness of the pencil style. The hate looks too clean in the computer version.  There's got to be a way to preserve that sketchy feel while on the comp.  The thing that bugs me the most is how his body is rounded out and has definate borders.  Maybe I'm just being too demanding.  By the by.  I think I still have your House of the Dead.

    RE: The Hate

Yup, though the new one looks a bit too Bulky to me, like it is really fat...

    RE: The Hate

Thats the way to go.  I'm sure his weight will fluctuate.  The Hate hates to stay in shape.  But he hates being fat and skinny and moderate.  So he keeps changing but he hates to change.  Boy, I've been around rie ann too much.

Stay Puft Marshmellows! Reminds me of how I drew Stay Puft in Pengel. Anyway, I'm liking that look.

    RE: The Hate

Well, the one thing that sort of bugs me, now that I think of it, is that he has feet. He did in the cartoon as well, and it worked there, but earlier, I always imagined him as this writhing mass of pure hate. Just floating along the ground, or rumbling along. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy. It's just... feet. Look awkward.

    RE: The Hate

If he doesn't have feet, how will he stomp on babies?

    RE: The Hate

Yes. there is that... Maybe straighter feet? As in the legs just end in these stomping blocks instead of actual feet?

    RE: The Hate

I think the feet are needed for balance reasons. He's look a little ackward with stumps, like he was about to topple over. I think the feet make him look like he routinely steps on babies and every time he takes a step the earth buckles under his massively hateful weight, causing cracks in the ground for little children and beloved family pets to trip on or fall in.

    RE: The Hate

I think you misunderstand my meaning. Here's a (VERY) quick and definitely pretty dirty example of what I'm talking about. Those are proper stomping-feet. Especially DESIGNED for stepping on stuff! No weak points. No toes to be broken, nothing. No achilles-heal, both figuratively AND literally speaking. Does he look like he's about to topple over at any point soon?

Oh, and this is NOT, I repeat, NOT fan-art. If it were fan-art, I'd spend more than two minutes on it.

    I certainly wouldn't mind fanart...
