The Blood Drive - Part II

Well, as I promised here's part 2 of the blood drive comic.  It seems that Gustav (not) helping *ucky is a recurent theme with me

This is actually based on real events, and if I might offer a suggestion to Lichkeeg, it would be to include the following when (and if of course) the comic is posted.

This past Summer there was a blood drive at the local mall, so I decided to help out my feloow human beings, and get free doughnuts and coffee in the process.  There was a volunteer whose role seemed to simply make conversation with the people waiting, and he was quite a nice guy, thus the idea of having Gustav greeting potential blood-donors.  After you donate, they make you lay and wait about 20 minutes, just to make sure everything is fine before letting you go (and have the free coffee & cookies).

As I was laying there, some volunteers (all mature ladies) were chating beside me, and one related in great detail how a man's vein popped open, and basically pissed blood all over the place. Of course he wasn't rushed to an hospital, and such happenings are extremely rare.  In fact it could have been caused because he had a coagulation deficiency, coupled to not having followed directives properly. I got the attention of the lady who told the story, and pointed out to her that she really shouldn't relate such tales around people who might already be nervous enough from having a huge needle stuck in their arms.  The five of them looked at me as if I'd grown a third eye or something.

And thus was born this comic

    Have  a great weekend everyone
