Powerleveling, Buying ingame resources for MMOs, is it fundamentally wrong?

    Just tossing this out there.

This topic is in reference to people being able to buy leveling and ingame items from websites for their favorite MMO.  As background, I had a complaint that I allowed powerlevelers to advertise on dndorks.com, the guy acted like I allowed drug dealers to advertise on my site, he was really offended, like it was "common sense" for me to prevent such things from happening.  With that in mind, I'll describe a fictional situation, I can only assume the guy who complained would be like Bob.

A person, lets call him Bob, who has no responsibilities dedicates all their waking non-school, non-work hours working on getting the absolute best things an MMO can offer.  Bob pays 15 bucks a month and no more, unless its the occasional expansion pack.

The next person, lets call him John, works, takes care of his children, and is only able to play a couple times a week.  John has all the same ingame things as Bob, happy enjoys the game when he can play, gets to experience all the best raids in the game, etc.  John pays the 15/month, the expansions, but also pays 10 bucks every 2-3 weeks for ingame items to keep up with Bob.

Does Bob have an intrinsic right to be "better" than John?  Is Bob justified to be upset by John "cheapening" his gametime?  If so, why does it matter to Bob what level or what equipment John has?  Why is it ok that Bob can give his alts all the best equipment from his lvl 50, powerlevel his nephew, etc, but John can't pay some kid from Nebraska 5 bucks for gold and/or to be powerleveled?

If I'm spending 40 bucks initially and 10-15 bucks a month afterwards to play a game I should be able to do anything that does not violate applicable law with that account, including pay some guy to level me up while I have a life. The only argument that could be made against this practice is if the powerlevelers/gold farmers abuse bugs or otherwise "cheat" (use unauthorized 3rd party software that allows them to do things normal players cannot). In which case that outfit is violating the acceptable use policy and as such lead to the closing of your account. Paying a cheater to cheat for you is still cheating, but paying a lackey to do boring stuff for you is your choice.
