To be honest, I haven't done anything like this before. I'm willing to give it a try if you are. You do want an adventure, right? Stick with me, and I'll hook you up with some adventure.
What am I good at? Well, honestly, I'm a genre-fiction type. Science fiction is something I have many ideas for, and the same can be said for both low and high fantasy, though I prefer the former. I can do cyberpunk, but I lost my touch for it a few months ago. Surrealism is something that I find to be appealing at times, but the thought of a surrealist webcomic is a bit scary, so I won't fault you on fearing that sort of thing. When it comes to real-life literary fiction sorts of things, I can work with them, but I prefer to add a touch of the bizarre to things. I'm a huge Gaiman fan, and while that may not carry any proper gauge of my abilities in that field, it shows you where my tastes lie.
I write drama. I live and breathe drama, though I don't produce any of my own. I can't come up with a gag-a-day, and most of my comedy honestly comes from puns, sarcasm, and playing off of the personalities of those around me. Ideally, I'd like to work with an artist on a more dramatic series, but I can be a background worker, only coming up when you need snark. I enjoy fleshing out characters with depth and backstories, and if you need bits to add to a world, I can gladly slide things in if you're interested in things of that nature.
If you need a dedicated writer, or at least a jerk to beat you over the head with a stick when your webcomic doesn't update when it's supposed to, then I'm your guy. If you don't need a writer, then why did you click on this in the first place? Hmm? There has to be a good reason.
Alternatively, this is a new thought. I just had a pretty cool idea for something involving giant robots, the mech genre in general, and similar things. If you need it, I can provide monetary compensation for you. If you can draw people and giant robots, I can put up some cash. Not enough to live off of, but enough to compensate you for your time.
