    D&D 2nd Edition vs D&D 3.5

Heya guys, well first of all I'll introduce myself since its my first time posting here.. I'm Zonack and I have been readin this comic since I discovered it like 8 months ago.

So well I am a huge pen and paper RPG fan even tho I never really play... you see when I was like 7 I played a small crap adventure with my brothers.. we were all young.. so we were just having fun and it lasted for like a month or two.. yet I was kinda obssesed with that... I never forget that adventure...

So well at last I am playing pen and paper RPG's, yet I am playing Vampire : The Masquerade atm, the guys I play with love D&D yet they are kinda burned out for playing it for like 3 years and they tryin White Wolf games.

So well the point is : I was talkin to this guys and told em I couldn't wait to play D&D 3.5 and they were all like ''Mmmmm naw, 3.5 is.. crap dude.. it's no fun, you are level 1 and you can take anything!''
The chance to hit at low levels its just too big and you do insane dmg! It's no fun to be a ''power player''

So they told that wasn't really fun. They saying 2nd is way better and it has way more challenge.

So which is the best one? Or they are just different?

    Thanks and Peace

3rd and/or 3.5 Ed is all I know.  I love it and I'm wary of 4th ed, but I am sure I'll adjust.  Unless they nerfed Psions hard.Angry

I have played the 2nd Edition before. It was fun and seemed to be freer than 3rd Edition. That said I've used 3rd Edition far more.

Blackadder: He's not a cripple, Mrs Scratchit. Occasionally saying "Phew! My leg hurts!" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick!
