Hey all... as you know, right now we're working on a Vampire: The Masquerade story arc, after which, there will be another "real life" interlude, then another story arc. Right now we do have a tentative idea for the game in which this story arc will take place, but we'd like to hear YOUR opinions on the matter. So, what would you like to see next in the comic? There are only two catches to this question, though...

• The story can't be DnD just yet (the one after next will most likely see a return to DnD, maybe even Lolo and Marc again, along with Sam's character which will still remain undisclosed for the time being).
• Game also can't be V:TM (cuz we're working on that right now )
• No videogame-related stories (as much as I hate it, Wally sorta refuses to write videogame stuff into the comic, even though i have some pretty nifty Super Smash Brothers Melee ideas for the comic *pout*).
• Story is NOT meant to be as long as this current Vampire arc, so games that require a lot of intrigue and time are out (HAH! If i can't have Videogames Wally can't have Werewolf: The Whining)

That's about all there is to it. Drop us your suggestions on what game(s) should be used for the next story session

How about maybe a table top game of Warhammer 40000 or Warhammer? It could be quick and fairly easy, Marcus maybe commanding the evil, terrible, hordes of the Orks and Yoshi with the brave, heroic, steadfast men of the Imperial Guard  .

Necromunda for Warhammer 40k and Mordheim for Warhammer Fantasy might work particularly well since there are roleplaying elements in both of those, though I'm not sure if you're familiar with them.

Some great stories grew up around our Necromunda gangs back when we played that.

I like the Warhammer Fantasy Role Play idea. You could have a short adventure with some Skaven and a troll slayer or something.

I played a fair amount of warhammer FRP back in college. I don't know why but I have always liked the Skaven. They are just so evil. :evil:

I didn't like the Skaven much at first, they seemed superfluous until I gained a greater appreciation of their techno-sorcery, something which made them more than just a bunch of random ratmen and truly unique to the Warhammer world.  This was actually portrayed very well in the otherwise weak Warhammer Fantasy PC game that came out in 1996, I think.  And I'd definitely be for anything that meant more Skaven scampering about.

I've never played Warhammer but if I did I'd probably be the High Elves. I'd like the idea of WH40k because of bigger explosions with lots of tanks et al. But I'd be fine with either.

Hehe... well, i'll discuss the whole warhammer deal with wally then (when he decides to stop being sick for a change...). I myself have only played WH40K, play with Eldar, Ulthwé to be more precise. If i did play fantasy, i'd prolly go with either wood elves (if only the miniatures didnt suck for the most part) or with dark elves (new minis are awesome!)...

I already have a couple nice ideas to integrate into a storyline involving warhammer... should turn out nicely... that is, if wally agrees with going with this idea

I had some friends who played Paranoia and said it was one of the best RPG's ever.

It is the craziest Rpg in the world.
