So do I. But if they truly suck, then Im happy.
Though I am worried they are starting to come around, which is a realistic possibility
So surprises thus far this season--
Man, whats with the White Sox? They seem to have the old Yankees starting rotation and have been chewing up rotations
Baltimore's starting rotation has also improved, despite it being mostly the same. I think its all about maturity, and with Roberts, Palmeiro, Tejada, and of course Lopez in the lineup, oh yeah and Sosa when hes healthy, they could be the one's to beat. It depends on how much their starters can keep it up.
The Cubs still suck. I thought theyd be key in the central with a slugging lineup and their 1-2-3 starting rotation aces. But the problems have been injury and just mediocrity.
The Arizona Diamondbacks. Theyve come back from the worst record in baseball to be the NL West leaders. Clearly they bought some of it, but theyve also improved their old players too. I AM surprised they are atop the division right now
The A's. They are almost the worst team in the majors (Besides Colorado). Theyve lost quite a few games in a row (Not sure how they did last night against the Sox). But theyve been flatter than Louie Anderson's sofa cushion. Once upon a time, they were the ones to beat in the West.
