    I know where you live.

    Where you sleep.

    Where you try to survive.

    I KNOW.

    Mike

Chill mike, we are just having fun. We know sword-chucks couldn't work we are just speculating in a very fighter like way of how cool it would be if they could. It entertains us and gets people to post on this board that for the most part grows a lot of weeds.

Alas, not the right kind of weed.

    RE: Anyone know where...

    Exactly not the right kind.

I know of a webcomic artist who in his eyes-full-of-chili childhood used to jump from the upper  bunkbed to the ground with a pillow under him just for the kicks. His mom used to take the pillow away when he didnt ate his veggies. Or when he was a rat-boy way too much.

Maybe thats why he turned out like he did.

    Regards,

    Mike

lol! my brother and I used to do something like that!! *giggles* but we didnt use a pillow, we just jumped from the roof of the first floor to the ground, we found out that we didnt got hurt when... by some strange reason i fell and nothing happened to me, so we took it as a family fun thing to do.. when mom wasnt looking of course, i guess we where trying to prove the gravity law.. dunno

Ah yes. Kids trying to proove the universe wrong. It is in that spark of ingenuity and inventiveness where the real genius of man(or woman!) lies.

Me? I used to fall. A lot. On rocks.

And dudes.. you had the benefit of having sisters or brothers of the oposite sex. In my house we pretty much fought each other just for the kicks. It was like..

Smaller brother: Hey, its hot. *smash!*

    Me: Geh!!*Falls dead*

Older brother: *kicks me in the ground* HA!

    *Both sit watching tv*

Smaller brother: So.. its kinda hot aint it?

    *Shenanigans ensue*

Keeping in line with the thread: Anyone knows where i can get.. eh.. video editing programs?

    Regards,

    Mike

    RE: Anyone know where...

lol but still at least you where both boys.. when i had to fight with meh brothers... im not half as strong as any of them.. when i was like 8 monts and was learning to walk my brother used to trip me.. once i fell down the stairs.. i owe him a nice scar on my lip.. then this other time he closed a door where i had my hand at.. and i owe him a very weird/funny looking nail in my right hand, never to grow right.. and so on and so forth, being the little one and girl doesnt help much really...

and about video editing.. dang the only one ive used is Director.. and its bad bad bad.. so hopefully anyone else will know, and tell me too, cause the animations i have in mind for 3d will need some editing i guess, not that 3D Viz has anything for doing that...

    RE: Anyone know where...

    Actually.

Now that i think about it, my brothers and cousins have received the crappy side of the stick all along from our violent fraternal love. I mean, there was the accidental 7 feet iron pole smacking in the head , the hockey stick to the eye and what was later named ¨The UNI Massacre¨ where there where neck, arm, head and knee injuries related to hitting things (like the ground or hard stone pillars! Extreme kids!) and non of them where laid upon me.

So it was pretty much smooth sailing for wee little me.

Accidents tend to happen around our neighbouring area. which i never truely understood why.

Oh Kharma! why must thou be so cruel!.

By the by, I love the use of dang in your posts. Old school goodness. Its kinda like instead of calling people idiots or harshly threading on them with more coloquial insults, you go and just flat out say to them in a most serene voice ¨You poor poor Imbecile¨. (Read: Im beh sah-il). it rocks, and it slips so cooly off of the tongue. Dang is the classier ¨****!¨.

    And it is good.

    Regards,

    Mike

    RE: Anyone know where...

Alas, I know not of anywhere where you can get video-editing programs... but don't they loan you free CDs at CETEC? Maybe in one of those there's something similar to what you are looking for.

Now, anyone knows where I can find... uh... a job?

    *breaks*

    RE: Anyone know where...

Not much help on the video editing programs.

A job however.... Did you say you have an engineering degree? Well how about moving to the US the San Francisco area is picking up on the economy again or so I have heard.
