Drew Henson is the future of the Cowboys. He was before the release of Quincy IMO. Quincy was at best a very average QB, kinda in the Kordell mode. He wasn't accurate, and he had a tendancy to throw the ball up for grabs. The rumor is he tested positive for some kind of substance, maybe cocaine.
Vinnie makes the Cowboys better this year I think. He's got a familiar system under Parcells, a familair target in Keyshawn, and had a lot less to do with the Jets falling apart last year than the Reskins preseason rape of their roster did. Pennington wouldn't have been able to get them back in the playoffs I think if he'd been healthy after losing so much.
Either way, Quincy or Vinnie, the feeling around Dallas seemed to be either one was just gonna hold the reigns for a year or two til Henson was ready to take the spot.
Don't get me wrong, either way, the Cowboys were gonna be a better team with a worse record this season anyway.

No easy 10 week schedule run to start the season like last year.
