Right - CIN over CLE – Finally someone who will not participate in a shoot out with the Bengals.

Wrong - ARI over MIN – Viks are done.

Right - NYJ over HOU – Jets continue to keep pressure on Pats.

Right - NO over ATL – The Falcons will not participate in a shoot out with the Saints.

Right - SEA over DEN – Okay I know that you don’t pick against DEN at home, but they have a rookie QB and Alexander is playing on Sunday night and likes to shine.

Right - CIN over OAK – Even is the Bengals offence falters I can’t see the Raiders scoring much.

Right - PHI over WAS – Garcia will be slinging the ball around a lot. May or may not be a good thing.

Right - NYG over CAR – Just because.

Wrong - DET over MIN – Again going with home team.

Right - JAC over IND – The slide continues for the Colts.

Wrong - KC over BAL – It should not happen but Arrowhead is a tough place to play in.

Right - TEN over HOU – Titans are too hot right now.

Wrong - NE over MIA – Fins still have a lot of work to do.

Wrong - SEA over ARI – Don’t overlook this one Hawks.

Wrong - SF over GB – Again the home team.

Wrong - NYJ over BUF – Should be a good game.

Wrong - JAC over TEN – The Titans will make this a closer game than the Jags want.

Right - NYJ over MIN – Don’t prove me wrong again Jets.

NO over NYG – And the Giants continue to flop.

PIT over BAL – Steelers are on a roll.

ATL over CAR – What happened to the Panthers.

JAC over NE – Jags should not be beaten for a second week by the other teams defense.

BUF over TEN – Two very hot teams only the Bills are better.

IND over HOU – I know the Texans play the Colts close but not this time.

CLE over TB – Two terrible teams but lucky for the Browns the Bucs are not in their division.

SF over ARI - 49ers still thinking playoffs and they are at home.

DEN over CIN – Sorry Bengals the Broncos are at home.

SEA over SD – A let down game for the Chargers and the Hawks need a win.

PHI over DAL – The Eagles will surprise the Cowboys and shut down TO again.

MIA over NYJ – These teams seem to always have crazy games, but edge to home team.

STL over MIN – Look for many TD passes from the Rams.

NO over CAR – The season was supposed to be the otherway around.

NYJ over OAK – The Raiders have been looking forward to this game all season.

CIN over PIT – Home team plus they have something to play for.

DAL over DET – Also home team and something to play for.

SEA over TB – Time to get out of reverse Hawks.

TEN over NE – Titans finish strong.

HOU over CLE – Browns just want to finish.

PHI over ATL – Eagles look to clinch division.

SD over ARI – Even with resting the starters.

DEN over SF – Denver at home.

BAL over BUF – Again the home team.

IND over MIA – into the playoffs with a win.

GB over CHI – Why not. Farve needs a big game.

Hard to believe that the regular season is almost over.

Okay, so far so good.

History dictates that the home team usually wins this round of the playoffs.

SEA over CHI - Yep, I am bucking history right away. But this game could be a blow out if Chicago scores first and builds a lead.

BAL over IND - Going with the home team on this one. I don't think the Ravens will play into the Colts D the same way the Chiefs did.

SD over NE - Should be a heck of a good game. But got to go with the hotter offense on this one.

PHI over NO - It has been a magical season for the Saints but the Eagles are coming together at the right time and they are experienced.

So there's the Super Bowl happening next Sunday. Having watched the last two without much of an idea of what is going on, having watched the highlights of the NFC and AFC play-offs I have a better understanding. So armed with new knowledge I should be able to enjoy the game on Sunday much more than I have previously.

I am just hoping that it is an enjoyable game to watch. I don't really have a preference as to who wins but I would like to see a game that is not one sided or a total boring defensive battle.

I find when it comes to the really big games like cup finals, even the best teams become concerned with not making mistakes. That makes the games often cautious affairs with everyone afraid of putting a foot wrong. I reckon a couple of early scores should shake out any big match nerves from the system.
I'll be watching the game tonight and like you I hope it'll be lots of attacking and positive play.
