Right - BAL over OAK – Will the Raiders even score?

Right - NO over GB – Will the Packers score? Much more likely than the Raiders.

Right - IND over HOU – The Texans will not be up to the challenge though it might be close with Manning maybe letting down a bit.

Wrong - MIA over BUF – Could be a very close game.

Wrong - CAR over MIN – The Panthers bounce back.

Right - ATL over TB – Though it would not surprise me for the Bucs to wipe the field with the Falcons.

Wrong - PHI over NYG – Even though the Giants impressed me against the Colts I am not picking them.

Right - CHI over DET – Could be another 6 to 9 game.

Right - CIN over CLE – The Bengals will light up the score board on this one.

Right - SF over STL – Let down for the Rams and confidence for the 49ers.

Right - SEA over ARI – The Hawks will get back on track here.

Right - DEN over KC – What have we learned? Don’t pick against the Broncos at home. Plus KC is without a QB now.

Right - NE over NYJ – Pats win a another one.

Right - SD over TEN – Give the ball to LT, Rivers.

Right - DAL over WAS – As much as I would like to see a repeat of last year it won’t happen.

Wrong - PIT over JAC – The Steelers proved they can still win without Ben last week.

 

Final total 12-4  for 75% correct this week.

Season total 21-11 for 66% correct on the year.

BAL over OAK -- 2 teams that looked like exact opposites last week
NO over GB -- *disclaimer*: I am not jumping on the Saints bandwagon
IND over HOU -- HOU will fight hard and IND will struggle but pull through
MIA over BUF -- I still think MIA wins the east, so no contest
CAR over MIN -- A lot depends whether Steve Smith starts, but I dont think MIN is that great
ATL over TB -- ATL might struggle a little offensively but itll be dwarfed by how much more TB struggles offensively
NYG over PHI -- PHI's defense is lacking and the Giants will run all over it
CHI over DET -- I really dont know what to think about DET now.  And CHI beat up on a weak team so not sure where they are either
CIN over CLE -- CLE's defense is far too overrated.  I expected a one sided game
STL over SF -- No upset here.  Im impressed with STL
SEA over ARZ -- This game is a good measuring stick for both teams
DEN over KC -- Id pick KC if they had Green, because DEN has Plummer
NE over NYJ -- NYJ too one dimensional offensively and no dimensions defensively
SD over TEN -- TEN may be the worst team in the league
DAL over WSH -- Revenge for the Cowboys
PIT over JAX -- I really wanted to go for the upset here, but PIT has too many weapons on both sides of the ball

Baltimore over Oakland- Ravens with Mcnair are set for a super bowl run
Saints over Packers- Anyone over the Pakcers actually
Indy over Texans- Gado will help Houston, but not enough
Dolphins over Bills- Who knows? Depends on Dante
Vikings over Panthers- No Smith, and Vikes should have blown Washington out last week
TB over Atlanta- Bucs always give Vick fits, even if they lose
Giants over Philly- Eagles not as good as they looked last week
Chicago over Det- Would have taken Det if Williams hadn't run his mouth on that D
Bengals over Browns- Simply a better team
Rams over Niners- Still not trusting of the Niners
Cards over Seahawks- why not?
Broncos over Chiefs- Not only is Green gone, that O-line in KC looks to miss Roaf
Pats over Jets- Brady out to make a statement that Branch won;t matter so muc
Chargers over Titans- Ten gonna be bad for awhile
Wash over Dallas- Bledsoe will get pressure all day (Also a homer pick, I know it's stupid)
Jags over Steelers- Jags can make a statement in this game.

CAR over TB -- Doesnt matter whether Smith is back or not.  TB will be throwing to the blue jerseys
CHI over MIN -- Should be a hard fought game but CHI seems to be among the best
CIN over PIT -- CIN I think is Superbowl bound and should prove it vs a good PIT team
DET over GB -- I think DET is pretty good and typically does well vs GB
IND over JAX -- Game of the week!  Again Im so close to calling the underdogs here but they dont have enough offensive power
NYJ over BUF -- I think the Jets are actually quite good this year
MIA over TEN -- Finally a chance for MIA to prove what theyve got.  If they lose here, they could be the most overrated team in history
WSH over HOU -- HOU is better but WSH will have all their weapons and looking for redemption
BAL over CLE -- One team seems to have everything going for them while the other, not so much
SEA over NYG -- This is the 2nd best game of the week.  SEA should do well even with Alexander a little hurt
PHI over SF -- Closer than you may think, but PHI offense should roll.  High scoring game here
ARZ over STL -- Im afraid Im already jumping off the STL bandwagon.  Ooops
NE over DEN -- DEN will keep losing with Plummer
ATL over NO -- NO has faced 2 weak opponents and ATL has done well against what people thought were tough matchups

Right - CHI over MIN – Tough one here but overall the Bears seems to be better.

Wrong - PIT over CIN – Steelers have home field.

Wrong - DET over GB – The season will be a long one Farve.

Right - IND over JAC – Yeah the Jags have been impressive but the Colts are better.

Wrong - BUF over NYJ – Bills defense is looking good.

Right - MIA over TEN – Even Culpepper can win this one.

Right - WAS over HOU – Texans will put op a good fight and it might be enough.

Right - BAL over CLE – Hmm, the Ravens will be a team that contends this year.

Right - SEA over NYG – Could be an upset if the Hawks do not get it together.

Right - PHI over SF – Not so fast now there 49ers, you still suck remember.

Wrong - ARI over STL – The Cards have improved, plus the 49ers beat the Rams.

Wrong - NE over DEN – Something not quite right in the Broncos camp.

Wrong - ATL over NO – Home after a year will have emotions high but Falcons hitting on all cylinders right now.

 

I think I picked all favorites this week, which can't be a good thing.

CIN over NE -- CIN is the best of the league and NE is just a middle of the road team
MIA over HOU -- Could be a close game @ HOU, but I still like MIA to win the east despite the terribly slow start
CAR over NO -- Will be tough to live up the emotion of the previous week for NO
MIN over BUF -- BUF wont be able to pass all over this defense
SD over BAL -- I think SD is a greatly balanced team and now theyre rested
ATL over ARZ -- Those who picked ARZ were chasing fools gold
DAL over TEN -- Should be a rout as long as DAL isnt overconfident
IND over NYJ -- Could be closer than advertised
KC over SF -- KC's defense is underrated.  Their offense is overrated
DET over STL -- I like DET to get off the schnide here
JAX over WSH -- JAX will rebound after a tough loss here, besides Brunell is banged up
CLE over OAK -- OAK is the worst team in football
CHI over SEA -- I like the Bears at home vs an Alexanderless Seahawks team
PHI over GB -- I dont expect another Favre miracle here

Week 4

 

Right - DAL over TEN – No T.O. probably a good thing.

Right - KC over SF – Arrowhead a tough place to be a visitor.

Wrong - MIA over HOU – Fins should win this one.

Right - ATL over ARI – No huge emotional force to deal with this week.

Wrong - MIN over BUF – The Viks are for real.

Right - IND over NYJ – Another win for the Colts and another tough loss for the Jets.

Right - CAR over NO – The Panthers D should be able to slow done the Saints.

Wrong - SD over BAL – The bolts are strong and the Ravens old.

Right - CLE over OAK – Can’t pick the Raiders anymore.

Right - STL over DET – Rams can score and that is not easy for the Lions.

Wrong - CIN over NE – Should be a high scoring affair.

Wrong - JAC over WAS – Low scoring affair here.

Wrong - SEA over CHI – Still got to go with the Hawks.

Right - PHI over GB – One win was nice for Farve but not again this week.
