Yes I understand that that post was a joke but it looks to me there is something you missed about me that I must clear up... B MOVIES ROCK! \m/ \m/

Some of my favorite movies are B movies, the Evil Dead trilogy, The Goonies, Mom and Dad Save the World, Stay Tuned, and of course Grimlins are all cheesey stupid/funny movies that I love, and I am sure I am not the only one.

I don't know what you call movies that are less than B movies, but theres this one movie that looks sooo bad that it looks funny. It's called The Candy Tangerine Man and the main character is THE stereotypical black pimp. He rhymes every sentence and he grooves to funky bass music while walking across the street. If you EVER see this movie rent it, you'll be glad you did

Tried to attach some clips, but it was a no go, tell me if you know how.

    RE: Movie Critic Corner

Well I went out and spent some of my hard earned money on a seeing a film in the theater. oh how I wish I had that time back.

I went to see Dawn of the Dead. It is a remake of the original. Basically some zombie like things start biting people then the people die and come back to unlife as a zombie and go to bite more people. The only way to stopp them is to shoot a zombie in the head or ram a stick through it brain.

The movie in general was okay. No great special effects or anything like that but it did kind of give me the hebbie jebbies. I was almost alone in the theater only a handful of youths in the very back. So when I got out I was kind of checking out the people around to see if they were Zombies.

Pretty much a small group of people who are alive make it to a shopping mall that had not opened yet for the day. They go inside and kind of set up a base of operations. There is another guy a few blocks away that was the owner of a gun shop that has made it to the top of his building. You can see some of the changes that the characters go through as they are faced with the situation and things get pretty grim as in all the other safe houses have been over run with zombies. At one point there are thousands of zombies wandering around in the pakring lot aroudn the building. The guy on the top of the gun shop has out a sniper rifle and is taking out zombies 1 by 1. The people on top of the mall are holding up a white board with famous peoples names on it and the sniper takes them out. It was pretty funny he takes out Jay Leno, Burt Reynolds and such.

In the end the group in the mall outfit a couple of courtsey vans and make a run for the boat docks hoping to sail away and find other live people. Only a few of them make it and then the movie ends. or wall at least the credits come up. Then it proceeds to show the rest of the film in very short flashes between the credits. It was so fast it was almost like subliminal imaging. It was really annoying. If they were going to show the rest of the movie why did they do it this way. It was like the editor ran out of time and had to get the credits in there. I almost got up and walked out after a few scenes.

I would not waste your hard earned dollars on this one. Wait for it to come out on DVD and then wait for some one else to rent it before giving up any of your time. It get a 2 stars out of 5 just because of the slightly nervous feeling it gave me afterwards and the funny scene where the famous zombies get taken out.

Yeah, I don't care for these so called "horror" movies because they never scare me and most of them just use pop outs to suprise you (Which get predictible) and gross out factor (which doesn't bother me).

The only movie i have ever heard of that is supposed to actually do a good job in generating actual fear is Event Horizon, which i have never seen. Apparently the guy who did event horizon also did Resident Evil which wasn't that bad and didn't try sustain it's self purely on pop outs.

Apparently this guy is also the guy behind the Aliens VS Predater movie that is comeing out which interests me, of course I would go see it anyway since i love both the Aliens and the Predater serise and really enjoy playing the Aliens VS Predater computer games...

Talking about scary, the last time I saw a movie that actually scared me (ok, it wasn't really a movie) was when I watched that miniseries about Stephen King's Red Rose (I think that's the name of the book... the one about the house and the paranormal people) on HBO... the 2nd episode with the skeleton woman touching the paranormal guy creeped me out for the rest of the week...

Well the last time I was scared during a movie was probably The Shining, boy that movie easily ranked in my top 20 movies, if not, top 10.

I may have been scared during the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, but I dont think so.  I think I was just overcome by mixed emotions.  I just know during some of the final battle scenes I was shaking.

Yeah like right after that one came out they decided to make a new one. Stephen King wanted to redo it because the way Jack Nicholson did it it was a little hard to tell if there actually where paranormal activities involved or if it was just Nicholson's character going insain. At least thats the reason I heard as to why they re did it, apparently Jack Nicolson was too good of an actor for the role.

Wow...what a piece of crap, eh?   What was put on film was a piece of art, and then another person says, "Thats not right" and makes his own interpretation?  Well Im not surprised I hadnt heard of the 2nd one.  It must have been destined to failure

Isn't that where all the art/fun of the movie is ?
