After it was ended on a season finalie Farscape has risen from the dead to finaly get the ending it desirved and it was worth the wait.

 

Frell the Sci-Fi chanals execs and viva la farscape.

I'm just surprised anyone liked it. It's a blatant Lexx rip. But at least Lexx ended well.

And there were no euthanisms, or any need for swearing.

Well, one may well have been a rip of the other...Lexx of Farscape, that is. 

A), Farscape came first.  It started in 1997; Showtime premiered Lexxx a year later

B),  Lexxx wouldn't have been out of place on the Playboy Channel

C),  Even if Lexxx had had a storyline, its triple-x-ness (a phallic ship that fires its weapon by, errmmm, firing its weapon?!?) would keep anyone who doesn't appreciate pr0n from watching.

Tass is gonna tell me I'm a frelling idiot for saying this next, but, while I'm not a Farscape fan (watched maybe 5 eps during the earthfall arc), there doesn't exist sufficient filthy lucre in this universe to get me to watch even 10 minutes of Lexxx.

Actually, Lexx was aired in 1995 in Germany first. Season 2 was aired in 1997. It's not so much phallic as it's a dragonfly without wings. Most millitary stuff is phallic anyway, if you consider clinders to be phallic (and cilinders are the easist shapes to machine, being they can be spun on a lathe)

...I liked Lexx...

and I'm not a porn enthusiest...I just liked the whole concept of a shadow universe, and the insect/human war, with the Brunan-ji backstory and the comedy that they threw in gave it a spin.. Admittedly, there were a lot of blatent sexual refferences, but they diddn't show much actual porn...

I like both Lexxx and Farscape except for two point:

1) Farscape was shown on BBC2, and the time it was on changed every week, so i constantly missed it

2) Lexxx was shown on Channel 5...at 2 IN THE MORNING!!! Im not staying up that long to watch a mechanicle dragonfly, piloted by a courer, a sex lizard, and a vampire, destroy planets

Lexx isn't phalic. Bha ha ha ha ha ha ha ah ha ha ah aha ha aha hooo *whips tears from his eyes*

Sorry but there are more phalic things in Lexx then you can shake a ship at and they are all usally done for cheap laughs.

As for it being a Lexx ripoff... Huh? Could you please show three things that Lexx and Farscape had in common.

Kai/Angry bloke with sword (I liked angry bloke, his sword pissed me off)

Everything about the Lexx universe is weird, which is why I love it so. Each epidsode was different, all dirty and grimy, along with the video as opposed to film recordings which gave it that extra... Something (Cheapness is the wrong word, especially how video is supiror to film, just hollywood prejudice goes for film and bloody awful 16:9 aspect ratio)

The third season wasn't as good, Jeffery didn't write any of the stories, and it was dark and unplesant in the uncomfortable, unlike the four Lexx movies.

Season four is admittedly more of the same, but the fact I hadent watched Lexx in over two years redeems that, it got me into the whole show again.

What I didn't like about farscape was jealousy. Plagarism happens all the time, I don't like it happens to something I like.
