Elves are sneaky. How about just burning everything in the Orc campaign?
    Scratchit: But he's a cripple!
Blackadder: He's not a cripple, Mrs Scratchit. Occasionally saying "Phew! My leg hurts!" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick!

Now that would be sweet. Cool [H]

Hey didn't Kayless have a website about the Warcraft games? I thought Tybaltus posted a link at one time or another.

    Re: Games

Well I've been talked into it, tomorrow I will start playing World of Warcraft; I swore I would never do this again. Never get addicted to another MMORPG... I will break this promise.

Well anyway who else plays? If enough of us do we could have a guild called Dungeon Crawl Inc. :D

I know Popo does, at least he said he did; don't know if he still does.

I of course plan on playing a gnome engineer, perhaps a mage engineer.

Oh God, now you're getting into ancient history. Embarrassed [:$]  That was part of my first attempt at a webpage, before I really knew what I wanted to do (like most people's first attempts) and came up with a hodgepodge of everything.

Dungeon Crawl Inc. - It's the most fun you can have without three midgets and a whip!

    Re: Games

I played it, got tired of sitting for hours, mining for the corp, or flying around killing rats over and over...

was fun when the corp got into a war with another corp though, we launched all our fleet and sieged their home base
they got their arses handed to them
but I got tired of it
must say though, it was the best space RPG I've ever played
sort of, the game "Freelancer" never became
    BORK!

Yeah, I won't be playing another mmorpg again, they are all the same in the long run.

I can understand how you both feel, and each to their own. But EVE is really great.

    Re: Games

I agree with Twitch, when I stop playing WoW, I'll drop the whole MMO gaming for as long as possible ^^

taking so much time, and so much money
perhaps Guildwars, since it's no monthly fee, but that'd be the exception
    BORK!

    Re: Games

Well while you're talking about mmorpgs I stumbled across this one and thought it sounded pretty good. Seems kind of like the elder scrolls series but multiplayer. Fairly good graphics as far as I can tell much better then the warcraft one. I might  buy this one instead of WoW (I have been thinking on Wow for ages but need to upgrade my rust bucket)

not sure on its release date though. Their in the beta testing so probably this year

    Re: Games

Just beat Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel without a Pulse...again.

There are only two games I've played through all the way and then after beating promptly played a second time through because it was just so badass. One was Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and now Stubbs the Zombie is the other. This game is awesome, it's a comic romp in the city of Punchbowl Pennsylvania in 1959; it's one of those "Cities of the Future!" that you see in 1950's adds... Robots hover cars, the works. Anyway, you play as Edward "Stubbs" Stubblefield a traveling salesmen who was murdered and berried in an unmarked grave somewhere in Pennsylvania. Twenty-six years later that spot is now Punchbowl, built by the richest man in the world to be a beacon guiding the rest of the world into the future... Unfortunately for him Stubbs has crawled from his grave and decided he could go for some brains right about now...

This is a great action adventure game where you get to see the zombie apocalypse from the zombie's point of view and I'll tell you it's great fun! See the sites, meet the people, and eat their brains; any person you kill (in an amusing variety of ways) rises as your zombie servant. They run amuck eating brains and raising more dead as you shamble your way about the city wreaking havoc.

This game runs off of the halo engine so the graphics are very nice, there is a cool grainy look to everything as if you where watching an old horror film. The blood squirts by the bucketful and the screams and moans of the humans and zombies respectively are fantastic. Which of course brings me to the dialogue... this game has some of the funniest quotes I've heard in a game in a long while (excluding The Bard's Tale which was also a fantastic game; I'll gladly review that upon request.). The music, while sparse is great; the soundtrack is made up of 50's classics redone by various modern artists such as Mr. Sandman covered by Oranger, Earth Angel redone by Death Cab for Cutie, If I only had a Brain redone by Flaming Lips...

The only bad thing I can find about this game is length... or lack there of rather... I beat it in about six hours the first time, four the second time.

So, if you want a fun, quick, game. Check out Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel without a Pulse.
