This will sound 'rulesy', but think of this more as a guideline, assuming it's not utter crap.
Environment:
Outside. There is a large area of lawn, and a paved area, half covered. There is The Bar in the covered area. A freshwater swimming pool also is present. This is surrounded by a tall fence with one gate that doesn't open from the inside. The Bar carries an infinite number of every potion, both labelled and otherwise. There is always a few potions on the bar itself.
Potions:
Potions are stored in Standard Potion Bottles (SPB) unless otherwise stated. a SPB holds two metric cups, or four standard doses.
One standard dose (half a cup) causes the person who drank the potion (henceforth: victim) to enjoy (or maybe not) the effects until s/he has posted twenty more times within the thread.
Increased dosage ups the intensity of the effect, unless that is inappropriate, in which case it increases the duration by the rate of 50% per additional dose i.e a double dose stands for 30 posts.
'Splashed' potions are count their dosage as half of the quantity that touches skin.
Examples:
(Animal) Transform Potion
Each potion is for a specific animal.
A standard dose causes the victim to assume a 'normal' anthropomorphic form of the animal in question. Varying the dose changes the magnitude of the effect. A double dose causes a full animal transformation.
Chibi Potion ('Pink stuff')
The victim is about half to a third of normal height, and of chibi proportions.
Shrinking Potion 1 (Shrink Soda)
The victim is shrunk to the size of an action figure.
This potion is unusual because it has no effect splashed, and has the same magnitude and duration at all dosage levels.
Shrinking Potion 2
The victim is shrunk to a half of normal size in each direction on a standard dose.
Varying the dosage proportionally changes the magnitude of effect.
There are others, of course...
Potions cannot be negated save by waiting for it to wear off. If a potion would contradict one already in effect, it either has no effect (if it was splashed) or causes the victim to throw it up (without effecting prior potions) and still has no other effect.
Random Potions:
When the victim drinks a potion without specifying what it's effect is, one of the following posters can (and should) decide what the effect is.
