    Psionics: Similar to Magic in that it takes power to use (Only psionics use ISP, wheras Magic uses PPE), psionics are a very munchkin ability with major strengths, and major weaknesses. For instance, a Psychic charactor is generally unprotected in combat, but could, for instance, cause someone to spontainiously explode from 250 meters away. Some psionics are specialised, some are not. The main difference between Psionics and other powers which would do the same thing is that Psyonics always hit, have impossible saves (Unless you are fighting another psionic) and cost ISP. (Inner Strength Points)

    you must meditate to regain ISP, at a rate of 6 points per hour of meditation.

    (Meditation counts towards sleep, at a ratio of 2/1 for time, but sleep only restores 2 points per hour.)

    Any non-psionic charactor needs to roll higher than 15 to save VS a psichic attack. It counts as a M.E. save. Psichics need to roll over a 10 to save.

    Domesticated Animals don't like you.

    you have a +8 bonus to your ME _STAT_, and +1 to your MA.

     your base ISP is your ME X2, plus 90. Every level, this increases by 10.

    you get 10 psychic abilities, which YOU select.

    and 3 SUPER abilities, which you also choose.

    every level, starting at 2nd, you recieve 2 more minor and one major ability.

    your SDC (think of it like super-HP) is 30.

    you have $1100 in pocket cash, which you can spend on anything you want.

    OK, at 19 the highest you can get is 2 years of college. more than likeley you'll get high school.

    you have 2 years of college. you get 2 skill programs and 10 secondary skills.

    Programs you can select:

    Buisiness, Communications, computer, criminal, domestic, electrical, journalist, language, mechanical, medical assistant, medical investigations, pilot, pilot: Advanced, Physical, Police, Robotics, Science, Technical, proffessional thief, ancient weapons, modern weapons, and survival/wilderness.

    Pretend the word "Program" happened before every comma.

    you get to choose two of those. Each contains a bunch of skills. than you get to pick 10 more individual skills. Usually, munchkins will take Hand to Hand training as well as physical training stuff as secondary. will post skill list later.

    When will I get to do my char ? Can you PM me the list of powers, Acanous ? and the list of kinds of superheroes ? For the powers, only the names, and for the kinds of superheroes, which powers are available. Thanks !

    the list of powers, hero types and all is quite extencive... to find 'em all, go pick up a copy of Heroes Unlimited, from your local games store.

    This does sound interesting arcanous, and I understand that since most people don't have their own books, and since the book is so large, that you can't just type it all out... and that in the heros unlimited system, many of the character types can have widely varrying powers based on the rolls that are made... but I do like to have some amount of choice in what character I choose to play. Still, I'm willing to give this a chance, especialy since it looks like it'll be a slow paced RP.

    OK, T-drake, because of the SICK ammount of secondary skills which exist, I'm going to give you secondary skills relating to your educational skills, as well as a few good city skills like prowl and streetwise.

    I'll give you a copy of your completed charactor sheet when i'm done, than I'm a start on Josh's.

    yeah, but now Drake's is done, and DB's is done, so we can actually start the RP NOW, and add more players later... but first Drake needs a backstory. speaking of which, I have a charactor sheet to PM. And than I move on to the next one.

    Hydrokenisis:
    Sence chemical impurities (2 ISP per minute) 70% +2 per level to check for drinkable water, 35% +5 per level to check for artificial poisons or drugs. Range is by touch.
    Boil Water (3 ISP per gallon, one gallon per minute) Range: 8 ft. +2 PLV.
    Water Spout (5 ISP) fluid must be 75% water, and must be liquid water. 2D4 damage, +1 to strike, 20 foot range, causes loss of initiative for 1D6 rounds, up to one gallon of water can be manipulated for 30 seconds.
    Sence water (0 ISP) Perminant duration. 20 ft. per level.

    Empathic Transmission (6 ISP)
    Range: 60 ft.
    Duration: 2D6 minutes
    Attacks per melee: Equal to regular attacks.
    saves as standard (must roll over 15 for non-psychic, over 10 for psychics)
    only one creature may be affected at a time.
    Despair or sorrow: Causes 50% chance of victim to give up without a fight, and victim is at -2 parry and dodge.
    Confusion: victims LOSE ALL INITIATIVE, and are at -3 to strike, parry, and dodge.
    Hate or anger: 60% chance for victim to attack anyone they dislike with intent to do harm or kill. +1 to strike, -1 to parry and dodge.
    Fear: (ph34r, ph33r) 66% chance that victim will turn and run. -3 to strike, parry and dodge.
    Love and Peace: 60% chance to curb hostility, stop a rampage, etc. Victim is NOT docile, simply has reconsidered his actions.
    Trust: will make the victim believe ANYTHING the psionic tells him. life threatening situations or suggestions that go against deep seeded fears invoke an additional saving throw wherin the victim has +3 to save.
    (Dude... you can say "Go jump off that building", and they'll more than likely be like "OK"... not even hypnotic suggestion can do that...)

    Scholastic Skills:
    Electrical Engineer: 45%+5 per lv.
    Basic Mechanics: 45%+5 per lv.
    Computer operations: 55%+5 per lv.
    computer programming: 45%+5 per lv.
    Climb: 60%+5 per lv.
    Gymnastics

    Secondary Skills:
    Prowl: 50%+5 Per lv.
    Streetwise: 20%+4 per lv.
    Aerobics

    Math: Basic: 45%+5 per lv

    Hand to Hand type: Martial Arts
    Attacks per Melee: 6
    autokick inflicts 2d4 damage
